What a great year for Pittsburgh sports it was in 2009! It starts off with the Steelers winning Super Bowl 43 and concludes with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Sidney Crosby winning the Stanley Cup! This was also the year that I graduated from grad school, so this was a totally epic year for me personally as well! 😊

An interesting what-if from this game: What if Warner had gotten that last Hail Mary pass off? Fitzgerald had been virtually unstoppable at catching jump balls that postseason, even with two or three defenders draped all over him. Would've been a hell of a finish to give Fitz one last chance.
