Have you used your phone outside of Chicago? I've heard mixed reviews on coverage and have been told that things can have issues switching between WiFi and LTE. Also no data throttling right?

Very very nice review of Project Fi. I've been using this since November 2015. I am totally with you in regards to we need more of a phone selection, however I do love my Nexus 6P.

If you're out and about and someone sends you a fb messenger message does that go against your data plan if you're on a network instead of a free WiFi Hotspot?

Very cool review
Did have a question - in regards to public wifi. Does Project Fi offer a lot vs just having data usage option? Curious if I'll need to buy plenty data

Enjoyed your video and I do have a question. I started the signup process and got spooked when it asked about keeping my number or getting a new one. My current primary number is a T-Mobile number I have had for years and I use a Google Voice number for my business. I have the Google Voice number forwarded to my T-Mobile number. I can make calls from either using the Hangouts app. The signup seems to intimate that I can use the Google voice number as my new primary number or get a new number. I do not want to lose the T-Mobile number and would like to keep the setup as is. Can you provide any insight in that respect?

Have you ever tried to receive or send a phone call or text while you were on WiFi-only? Google says it’ll work as long as the WiFi is fast enough, but I’m suspicious.
