Another interesting mod, also uses the ET framework, is Code Geass. A bit overwhelming if you play any nation outside the main powerhouses, but it has a lot of interesting options.

I liked playing Third Odyssey mod it's really cool and throws you upside down as byzantium.

Lux in Tenebris, Beyond Typus and Die Gratia are three overhauls that should have been on this list, at the very least one of them should have. They are better developed and more indepth than many of the ones you included.

the one thing that holds back modern world mods is eu4's combat system as it's hard to represent a modern multi level battle with just soldiers and boats
