Have you had a chance to try any of these?
ОтветитьI live n die on tropical fruits
ОтветитьSomething I need to warn you about cherimoyas, while I absolutely love this spicy custard like texture and flavor, the seeds if breached or broken in the fruit, you need to throw the entire fruit out because the poisons in the seeds are far more deadly than the arsenic in a whole pound of ground apple seeds. DO NOT BITE or SUCK ON THE SEEDS! I've known a couple of people that died after not listening to me in regards to the poisons in those seeds.
Ответитьackee causes hypoglycemia,,,causes hypogycemic vomiting
ОтветитьI didnt know Hawaiians eat breadfruit too! We jamaicans have breadfruit all the time and the trees are everywhere! And I didnt know Ackee originated in Africa.
The more you know!
Ugh change the title. If something is unique, that means it is one of a kind. It can’t be the “most” one of a kind. It either is or isn’t.

ОтветитьAchacha I love it. Had it first time in puerto rico. Has a citrus element.

ОтветитьI gave a presentation on tropical fruits in a sales class in college in 1975. You put together a wide array of fruits, many of which I saw for the first time in this video. There are several I presented that you missed, however. I just wish I could remember what they were.
The first time I ever ate a starfruit was on Guam in 1968. My neighbors had a tree and one of the kids showed it to me. He had me pick one and the experience was magical. Crunchy like an apple, but sweet like a grape. Some other neighbors had a mango tree and we would climb it to picj the green mangoes. They are a little bitter, but we ate them like apples, but inside was very firm.
There are many different citrus fruits that I tried but I cannot locate them on the Internet.
Also, when I lived on Guam, I was introduced to pickled papaya. It is made with vinegar, garlic, salt and the local boonie peppers, which are very spicy. You can substitute with Serrano chilies.
Soursop is not only in America it’s in Africa as well
ОтветитьWay too many commercials in your video!!!!
I don't mind 1 or 2 but 5+ is ridiculous.
What. No dragonfruit,....?
ОтветитьThere delicious 👍🏻
ОтветитьGod yes love to try them all I have not but looks so amazing so cool to see different fruits from all over I love the video I absolutely love it ❤️✌️👍
ОтветитьSoursop reminds me of green apple flavor in candy and other sweets, but the real life version, since green apples don't really taste like that.
ОтветитьI have Lychees n star fruits growing here in my garden in Jamaica and I have tamarind too but mine are the sweet one's, they aren't tart like the native ones
ОтветитьJust go to Jamaica and get an ackee and salt fish breakfast with roasted or fried breadfruit. Wash it down with some soursop juice and eat some jackfruit, starfruit, tamarind and custard apple as dessert.
ОтветитьHow could u miss Water apples / wax apples - Indonesian big fruit?
ОтветитьSpondias dulcis (syn. Spondias cytherea), known commonly as ambra… add this to your next list
ОтветитьWe have tried durian , ok but very garlicky
ОтветитьHere in the phillipines we still have few fruits some may try like atis, caimito and marang (not sure though what's their international name).
Ответитьim from corpus christi, and even here babaco isnt well known. The festivals have been getting higher and higher prices, and less people go to these things. They need to sell it at our HEBs if they want people to try it.
ОтветитьRambutan, is all over Southeat Asia not just Malaysia and Indonesia and soursop is all over Southeat Asia too.
ОтветитьNo Pawpaw fruit? WTH its one of the most delicious tasting fruits in the world, taste so, so good like a tropical fruit but they grow in the U.S.A, they used to be very popular, with some States having Pawpaw festivals but now they aren't even known by most Americans, the fruit is hard to grow and if you are lucky you can find a wild tree, they grow best by rivers where they can get half day sun light in the summer and they are super picky about fruiting, like if the winter is too cold or too hot for them you will not see them fruit, that's why its hard to farm them because even with everything going right you can go 5 or more seasons without fruit. Now that's something to try.
ОтветитьCheck Publix. They carry Jackfruit.
ОтветитьI have had Ackee, Jackfruit, Soursap, and Breadfruit. Delicious!
ОтветитьYou need to add Noni Fruit and Dragon fruit
ОтветитьTried 75% of theses fruits! All yummy
ОтветитьGood I found this video. I'm going to die in a bit.
