The ones in most Pictures of American Bullies I've seen look to exaggerated and unbalanced for my taste. However I have seen one or two Pictures of an American Bully that looked interesting to me. Looked like it was somewhat balanced and should be able to move decent enough and still be a sturdy dog. While we don't need an athlete in our dog, I do want it to move decent and be able to breath good. I've seen video's of people do "Protection work" with an American bully that was so big and heavy the decoy had to all but give the dog his arm and the dog still looked like it was wearing out. To me that's pointless. I've been listening to video's lately about this breed and am starting to think I would like the more original ones better. Or maybe a Standard American bull dog.

You didn't mention the obvious Neo in some of them as well as American Bulldog. Also some Douge in some of the lines. Whopper line weight pull dogs was a likely big influence as well.

I have a Staffordshire cross Pit and a tiny Chorkie 😊 I've just purchased my XL Bully 2 weeks ago from a breeder that lived on a farm. He specialises in training his pups to be around other animals and children. When I took Thor from him as a pup, he blended right in with my other 2 dogs and 10 cats (both indoor and outdoor). I was very surprised at how eager he was to please once I'd quickly established my role as the alpha 😊 as soon as his paws hit the ground, he was trained every single day.
One thing I've noticed about this breed is that they are naturally very smart, eager to learn, very calm and extremely loving. Even at 10 weeks, Thor showed incredible ability around guarding my house and keeping my 3 children safe. He automatically goes into a heel position and patrols the outside of my house 😊 Thor is incredibly affectionate and seemingly unbothered by loud noises, people walking by and other animals. He was crate trained in less than 3 days as well as thriving on his sit, stay, down, come here commands. Very easy to train 😊 One thing I will say is that he does try and test me on the odd occasion but I make sure I follow through with correction and or discipline no matter what corner he goes to hide in. There has to be rules boundaries and limitations.
Also to note, at 10 weeks, Thor is a power house! Very strong indeed!
But he has never been a bother to my other pets and children of which the youngest is only 2.
Every time I feed him, I make a point of gently patting his head, rubbing his face, touching his ears, paws, feet and tail. Zero food aggression and loud praise to follow 😊 best to train them whilst still pups as with having young children who naturally grab at him, he understands that touching whilst eating won't matter because the food isn't going anywhere.
My children are also taught to respect all of my animals and have lived in a multi pet household since they were born.
One problem I had on the first week was puppy nipping 😅 this was always followed through with a loud "ah ah" or "ow".
Now he licks to show affection.
I've trained him to understand that paws on the floor and calm is the way to get treats, this is still a work in progress 😅 food wise, he will eat until it looks as though there's a football in his belly so I have introduced feeding times 😂 I've just taught him the "drop it" command so he knows what he can and cannot have, again it was very easy to train this breed.
Lastly, I've always taught my dogs off leash before on leash because their natural instincts are to follow. I can take Thor anywhere and he has this automatic heel which is reinforced via food.
Dogs lead with their noses, I always make sure it's nose before sight.
Sight before nose has never lead to anything great IMO 😅 From what I can tell thus far, my XL seems to form a very tight bond with his pack (humans and animals), is overly affectionate, easy to train but naturally inclined to protect without needing to be trained. This is only my personal experience but I was quite surprised as my Staffordshire cross Pit was incredibly stubborn as a pup and took years to mature 😂 One thing I will say is ALWAYS follow through with your corrections, running off or hiding is NOT an option with this breed as they have the potential to cause serious damage, as like many other large breeds. I live in the UK 🇬🇧 so these types of breeds are hitting the banned list quite fast. But my experienced belief, having many dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds throughout many years of training... it's the deed NOT the breed. A lot of these types end up in the wrong hands 😅

Eye level = possible threat / issue depends on parents environment and healthcare!!! Like with humans !!! We know a threat normally when we see one also don’t mess around when we are hungry broke or hormonally imbalanced:0)

XXL it's incorrect, the ABKC the only original registration from the breed AMERICAN BULLY and the only big variation official it's the XL there's not XXL bully that's just dogs off standard and looks more like mastiff, by the why, there's not real APBT blood on the AMBY just mixed dogs, and u don't want a American bully with gamenes, that's another reason

I don’t just want big size for looks, I want a protector!! With all the confidence in the world !! Boer boel BABY !! Never get a pit or bully again after this dog.

Not being rude to you but why is the Staffordshire miniature pit anyway near as dangerous as these lovely looking monsters in the video? Those could eat a staffie in maybe 2 bites! And pit bulls are used for guarding and enforcement against predators or criminals! A staff is a baby who bears a resemblance! Don’t confuse them anymore or you’ll end up looking stupid! Thank you! Best wishes.

You could have at least provide pictures of the of the different dogs when you're talking about them.

This is the first time in all the American Bully videos that states the French Bulldog was in the mix. Is this the reason some Pocket Bullies have full pricked ears? IMO, French Bulldogs have so many health issues it shouldn't ever have been used.

I appreciate you creating this video. It helps to hear the differences. However, it would have added to and SOOOO much more helpful if you would’ve added captions when you showed them side by side so that those of us watching could see the differences you’re referring to because visually it’s hard to tell which you’re referring to.

The narrator said that the bread is outlawed in certain places because they were bread for fighting. Here in Canada the Pit Bull bread was outlawed because of attacks on humans, particularly babies/children. I generally find bigger dogs gentler than smaller ones. Perhaps the xl and xxl are much gentler than the traditional smaller pit's but the narrator lost credibility with me when he refuses to mention why the reason this bread was truly outlawed in certain places.

I rarely look at the comments but it never amazes me that every time I do you have people that actually troll the internet and troll people's recordings so that they can say something derogatory about them. It just amazes me that people have nothing better to do than to troll people's videos and insult them. I guess this makes them feel bigger and better about themselves. I don't know.... Sometimes I think it's just showing the IQ
