You can use a power probe or a multimeter at the fuel injector harness with the key on to see what voltage the fuel injector needs....assuming that the circuit is good.

You live in the US and talk about expensive tools & cheap methods? I didn't know tools could be expensive for Americans with such high earnings. That doesn't make sense!

I used a syringe that fit the oring side. Red tube fits in the other end of the syringe and youre golden. Easy find at the local pharmacy

If not sure about the voltage on injector , suggest adding a 5 or 10 amp fuse to the 12 volt positive lead wire, this will pop if too much voltage is added to the injector. Thanks again

Worked for me. Got a cleaning kit for about $15. That, a can of carb cleaner, and some seafoam in the fuel, cleared thungs up. Fuel in truck when i bouhht it smelled like turpentine, nasty. Oh, and a new fuel filter...

I wonder if cleaning the injectors makes a noticeable difference in throttle response.

Back flushing and replacing injector filter baskets is a huge benefit. Those tiny filters are pretty cheap.
