Anybody else starting to think that Todd really has a deep rich radio voice, and these guys just had Harland Williams dub over it to fuck with us??

Im sorry but this is your best mechanic at this shop????/ I would walk in and tell the 20 mechanic "you're fired, get the fuck out". And run that shop like a real mechanic would. But I am also an aircraft mechanic and we don't fuck around.

If you NEED saddlebags, especially if it is only once in a while, install some with Easy Brackets. They go on and come off with the twist of a key, and only leave some little tiny pegs on the fender rails. I like PB Blaster or Kroil for an actual penetrating oil for loosening stuck nuts/bolts. You sure aren't being very careful with the stuff you plan to sell. '03 and older model batteries are WAY easier to remove and install than '04 and newer. I absolutely HATE those one time use only crimp clamps H-D uses. Japanese bikes use wire clamps that can be removed and reinstalled without any tools. Most of the time you can find them that fit on H-D hoses. Considering what they cost, I can't help but wonder why Harleys rust and corrode worse than most Japanese bikes. Timing covers on '04 and up Sportsters are riveted on. Pretty obvious that bike came with buckhorn bars (my favorite kind of handlebar) because all the cables are way too long, not to mention those low bars hit the tank. It was a LOT cooler before than it will be BLACK. There is nothing uglier than a YABOB (Yet Another Blacked Out Bike) Guess I won't be watching any more videos on this bike. Sad. You could have done something really cool with it. Other colors of paint don't cost any more than black, and look a zillion times better.

If you guys lived near by, I would definately hire you to do work on my new Harley! Todd is a sharp guy and the camerman does great work. So many cameramen are incompetent. I'm 61 y/o and I've just recently discovered how sweet Harleys are. THey never interested me because they were so wide and heavy and the clutch is TERRIBLE. I love the Sporters. I love the simplicity of the Harleys. ANd the vintage simplicity is so cool

Instead of using an adjustable wrench on the screw driver shaft you can use a box end wrench on the handle that’s why the handles are shaped the way they are, love the content keep up the good work brother

The ground wire to the tank is because the tank is likely mounted on rubber stand-offs. If the tank is isolated and the fuel filler touchs it there can be a spark from the fuel nozzle to the filler neck where fuel vapor is present. Fuel pumps should have a ground that customers connect to the vehicle but of course no one would bother. When I fill my airplane the fuel filling station has a ground strap I connect to the plane for this reason. By grounding the tank to the frame there is no potential for a voltage and arc to develop at the filler neck. The potential develops at the wheels looking to discharge to the ground. No spark at the fuel tank.

any chance you have the 100th anniversary engine covers and air cleaner cover still? I could also use the Engine Guard. My wife just WON a 2003 1200S model with 8k miles at the rally here in New Mexico. Im now on the lookout for some of the 100th anniversary edition accessories to add to the bike for her. Yep....maybe that front fender too if you still have all these parts. Thanks!

I've watched this video three times now. Great way to feature products and show how doable it all is. Todd is entertaining even if he has a disdain for the stock bike. Personally, liked this bike much more before they started tearing into it. Anniversary bikes are so pretty. The finished bike looked cheap and confused imo. Turned a desirable $2,500 bike into a slightly less desirable $3,500 bike.
