Hell yeah soldiers in WW2 were the goats and where an example of what real men are supposed to be like. Not like all these wusses in modern times boohooing that someone’s tweet is offensive. 😭 it’s wild to think those guys didn’t even have body armor back then. And where about honor, loyalty and self sacrifice. Putting their lives on the line for the fatherland. I have always had great respect soldiers. but especially for WWl & WWll soldiers My favorite was a Guy named Léon degrelle. And i will leave this thread with my favorite quote by him. Because i feel it applies in our time too. “In the hour of a world’s bankruptcy, souls are needed which may stand hard and tall as rocky cliffs, beaten in vain by raging waves… So long as there remains a little fire in some corner of the world, all miracles of greatness remain possible.” - Léon Degrelle
ОтветитьWow this looks amazing what game is the footage from? I want to play ASAP! lol.
ОтветитьThose German pilots only became aces due to their Me-262 terror jets are illegal sky terror weapons that killed too many allied pilots and my American grandparents.
Ответитьthis guy says the sky was full of English pilots, the guy he is talking about is South African, the only VC was won by a Scotsman, the Poles shot down more Germans for their numbers than anyone else, is this guy just stupid?
ОтветитьThe Germans top ace of WW2 was Erich Hartmann. 352 aerial victories. Yes ladies 352. He would have annihilated any allied pilot. Fact.
ОтветитьSailor Malan (M-ALAN) not Mallarn please.
ОтветитьSailor Malan is undoubtly a great fighter pilot!
Something even less known:
Werner Mölders had been shot down over Beauvais in France in 1940, June 5th, by S/Lt René Pomier-Leyrargues.Mölder was captured by the French Army.
PM, 23 years old, had 5 victories on his Dewoitne 520 at the moment and, short amo, was shot down in the following minutes - so credited of 6 victories.
Most German pilots referred to shooting down an opponent as a victory, not a kill.
ОтветитьI red werner Molders was already shot down in France a few monthes earlier .
ОтветитьPlease maintain the accuracy of the Luftwaffe aircraft depicted and stop mucking around with the tail swastikas. It takes away the authenticity of the account. 78 years have passed and I think we can stop fearing the resurgence of the Reich now.
ОтветитьI thought Erik Hartmann was the highest german ace
ОтветитьThe problem for the Luftwaffe was that they only had a few minutes over Britain befor they had to return.
ОтветитьThe "accidental" bombing over Berlin made the Fuhrer change tactics and bomb London, if not for that the British air arm was perhaps weeks away from collapse.
ОтветитьIf I’m correct Malian was stationed at Biggen Hill
ОтветитьMurders was the best. Malian was South African if I’m correct. Awesome pilots
ОтветитьJust a pity that politicians forced South Africa to fight on the side of Britain during WW2.... without even taking in consideration what the british have done in South Africa 40 years earlier. Atrocities against humanity. Killing 21000 women and children in concentration camps and also raping many before being killed. I have no respect for the british people and many boers here in SA are having the same views. Britain is our enemy and therefore we can't help them due to what they did in this country in the years 1800 - 1902
ОтветитьMan could you imagine living in Southern England or Wales at the time and watching this stuff go down right over your head day after day? You might even end up capturing a Luftwaffe airman!
ОтветитьYellow cowl and wing tips denotes easter front
ОтветитьChurchill was an Illuminati puppet who gorged on beef, pork and venison and got shitfa ced on expensive port while he murdered thousands of gullible military morons in a war intended to kill and maim as many Europeans as possible.
ОтветитьAccording to records from both sides, The Luftwaffe and The RAF, this alleged fight never took place between the two. Yes Mölders was nearly shot down as the story tells, but it wasn't by Sailor Malan, but somebody else in the same Squadron.
ОтветитьThe transport pilot needed to feather the prop on the bad engine, while also diverting all fuel to the good engine, and use more peddle to counter the torque of the one engine trying to naturally turn the aircraft. All this is normal multi engine flight training, but in the 40s these procedures were still being refined.
ОтветитьYou mention after the war he lived on a sheep farm in South Africa, I'm a proud South African, and I too have fought in war,but give honour to the man and his country, he was born in South Africa ,grow up in South Africa, learned to fly in South Africa, then went to Britain and fought in the battle of Britain, you might say I'm being a bit touchy ,but if I did a video on a top American fighter pilot fighting in the battle of Britain, and called him a RAF pilot, a lot of you would be pretty pissed at me,you have done video's on Poland fighter pilot's fighting in the battle of Britain, but never said thay were RAF pilot's without mentioning there nationally. Get it right.
ОтветитьWhy don't you mention that Sailer Malan was a South African, he was not British
ОтветитьGermany NEVER want war with Britain !
ОтветитьWatched 8 14 22
ОтветитьA true South African but sadly, was forgotten by the South African nation due to the government of time who treated him like dirt,...just because he was against their apartheid system!! A remarkable man! Sailor, I salute you! May your memory life for ever!!!
Ответитьdude died on his way to a funeral..
Ответитьheroes of the skies. Theres nothing hero on German and Japanese pilots in WWII
ОтветитьThe highest allied ace was Ivan Kozhedub with 64 kills.
ОтветитьNot totally accurate
ОтветитьIt wasn't just Brits flying over island.
ОтветитьDie Übersetzung ist katastrophal und mehr als schlecht, um nicht zu sagen eine verdammte Zumutung.
ОтветитьWhen flying the Microsoft WWII flight sim, I’d turn the tables on anyone who’d try to get on my tail.
Was a triple Ace on sim, till my computer became obsolete, & I could fly no more. 😞
good job
ОтветитьDude, you built this up as a dogfight when it wasnt. He took a snap shot, hit him and that was it. Youre very dishonest. Blocking your crappy channel.
ОтветитьNoone wrote this so far? I will do it then.
Although I read the titel right, I instantly rephrased it to.
"The famous dogfight of Werner Molders and Sailor Moon"
On a more serious note, you are doing some really nice videos.
Sometimes the one surpassed in score beats the top dog...
ОтветитьYou should mention that he was a South African.
Ответитьaccording to Wiki: Recent research has suggested however that Mölders was wounded in a fight with No. 41 Squadron RAF Sort of like who really shot down the Red Baron. But they don't list a source so ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯

ОтветитьTo be killed by the incompetency of your own side has to suck big time.
ОтветитьThanks for the video , always enjoyable.
The first time I heard about Sailor was while reading a book called “ Tucks Luck”
About Stanford R. Tuck .
Incredible story, great read . I highly recommend it
desperate though these battles were ,,brit and german cdrs general galland, funf luftflotten, and 12 group RAF keith park,( I think it was group 12, asked their men how they would consider an order to shoot at men in parachutes, goering asked this of galland after rebuking galland and his men for not protecting the bombers,,he took galland aside again cheery and amiably chatting with the oberst,,the question was asked,, recponded galland herr reichsmarechal I would consider such and order outrageous, and do all in my power to disobey such an order,,,,,' a similar answer was got from the guy keith park asked,
RAF who battled their opponents in abbeville, termed ;the abbeville boys' by RAF crew,
RAF who were captured or were captured in wounded states were well treated by german luftwaffe medics,One such prisoner was douglas bader, lost both legs before the war, took ten years to recover, douglas badgered the RAF to sign him off on general flying duties fitted with artificial legs, this astounded the germans at his capture after bailing out near St Omer,Bader was taken to a hospital, examined and treated by astounded doctors,,the wing commander escaped temporarily by tying bed sheets and lowering himself to the ground, walking out of the compound stopping at a farm nearby hiding in a barn underneath straw piles,,A search party went out to fetch him back, bader suprised one of the searchers by jumping up hands up in surrender,,,,,then had a talk with his luftwaffe captor who spoke in perfect brit english,,sharing common places they knew in streatham,, frequenting the same dance halls and tea rooms,Back they brought the legless fiirebal, this time under more careful guard, Bader got an invite to meet oberst galland at his base,,a car cam to pick him up,meeting galland on a tree shaded copse close to a parked BF 109,,champagne was drunk by all,,just chatting on tactics how they spent off time,,bader and galland became froends after the war appearing on TV and reunions for years after,
I’m sorry did you say Radar ? Really lol

Ответить@TJ3 History. If you must make a video you should be 100% accurate. You must learn the difference between England and the UK. England is but one of the four countries that make up the United Kingdom. The others being Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The Battle of Britain was fought by pilots from all four of the constituents countries mentioned above. In addition their were pilots from many countries of the Empire, Sailor Malan for one who came from South Africa. In addition their were volunteers from Southern Ireland and the USA not to mention many from Poland. If you cannot be accurate and do research may I suggest you make videos on subjects that you understand.
ОтветитьToo bad.. 🙏
Ответитьwow 27 victories !!!!! ....chapeau Mr Malan ..... where would you be placed in a world wide rank list of air victories?
I did not found you there !!!
The true story may never be known. Some say Molders wasn’t even in the same area. Some say he was.
