That was a really great video! This made me want to re-do my whole notion. I’ve been trying to come up with a way to have essentially an embedded daily view with a future log (like bullet journal) so I could see all relevant info for a day. Thanks!

How do you differentiate the quarters from each year?

Hey Marie, thank you for your content it's been very helpful! I was wondering for your journal, weekly, monthly Quarterly. do they all share the same database with just different tags or do they each have a separate database?

I've made a daily journal that reflects all my tracking items, then i used the "rollup" feature to combine my habits in the weekly review database.
When i tried to utilize the same concept on monthly review, I didn't find the rollup feilds!!! Can I create a monthly rollup made from weeks rollups?

Hi, Marie! Thank you for all of your videos on setting up Notion! I've had it downloaded for a while and was never really sure about whether or not to invest the time into setting it up until I stumbled across your content (have probably spent days between learning GTD and setting up Todoist...trying to fit a square peg in a round hole). I've decided to take the plunge!

Question(s): Why is Monday yellow? Does it change based on the day? If so, can you share how this can be done?

I confess that I am wasting more time than saving. The problem is that I want to implement advanced things, since I am a basic user. I've seen your videos several times, it helps to have an idea but I always fall into filling in manually or various disorganized information.

Crazy powerful software. But it seems like one would spend more time organizing this stuff than actually working.

Super thankful for all of your tutorials! Have been getting all of the projects I have with my band out into notion and organized in these relational databases is crazy helpful. No more letting stuff fall through the cracks. Do you have templates for your quaterly/monthly layouts anywhere? I couldn't find them

I think it would help to be more linear. For example you show how you use a template to create a new week but then you interrupt yourself by saying, “If I want to edit it...” why not just complete the thought? You know this stuff so getting into the fine points makes sense to you, but to a newbie it’s just one more thing that bounces off my brain. This overview is a mile wide and a half an inch deep. The title of this piece is “Using Notion’s Relational Database Feature” but by the end of it I have no idea how to use Notion’s relational database features. I just know that Marie jumped all over the place and has lots of cool-looking pages.

When you created a New page in the journal from this Dashboard page, how can you have it use a template? I have a template, but it always just creates the page and then I go into the page and click on the Template button to fill in the rest.
