I'm always confused by the Jimmy Brooks "manifestation vs real person". Why can't he be both? The Strange Man used REAL PEOPLE to measure John's morality in the first game, so why should Jimmy be any less real?

And I FULLY believe that Micah was a rat from the very beginning.

15 Lawmen dead, or as Arthur Morgan calls it: Getting sidetracked between missions.

Micha is one of the worst video game, characters thir has ever been, if it was possible to do friendly fire he would have been dead by the end of chapter 1. Followed by Dutch and turning his body in for a hefty reward and going about joining the Pinkertons as a lawman and die from his illness peacefully along side Hosea, John,Abigail, Jack, Saidy Tilly, Mr Pearson, Javier, Charles, Josiah, lenny, karen, Mery-Beth, Molly, Susan, Sean and Kieran. I would be happy to see them living their lifes out with out those who aren't mentioned. But Micha would have been dragged all over the map and then the left overs put out by where the Big Bear is Located or just anywhere where their is predators.

RD3 needs to show this

Micah was defo a Pinkerton spy/double agent,planned to infiltrate and become one of the gang members to then destroy and dismantle them as they go

If you go back to Micah’s little camp he was at before robbing the stage coach together, after the job… you can find a little partially burnednewspaper clipping about Dutch’s 10k bounty. Imo, Micah was a rat for a long time, maybe he held back from Pinkertons as he was using Dutch to his benefit, and planned on cashing in when he was done with him.

Haven't watched the video yet but I think the Blackwater incident is a robbery that went wrong and a lot of lawman and civilians died.

Jimmy brooks could be one of the people Arthur and Hoses were trying scam potentially, hence why jimmy singles out Arthur??

Honestly? It makes waaaaaay too much sense for Micha to be working with the pinkertons from the start with the promise of both freedom and reward. Given how micha is willing to play the long con for a big enough payday? It dose work.

And I had just realized as I’m playing the story again after we move from horshoe overlook Micah wants us to go into a wide open dried up river making it easier for the law to find us

Dutch is such an intriguing and interestingly written character

Whats even better is that Arthur himself gets a good enough description from javier to where he can't realistically ask anything more without it seeming obsessive, he got told it was going great, then they got their money and the whole law force+pinkertons showed up and they had to flee in a gunfight, nothing more is required to understand the basics to Arthur

Jimmy was def not at blackwater, why would he say arthur was there if he wasnt, and if he was then he would be wearing a mask

Someone made a simulation on what happens if you don't rescue Micah from Strawberry. He eventually gets out and does Strauss's work instead of Arthur causing him to get TB instead and dying from it. This in turn, voids the Rhodes shootout incident that kills Sean and as Arthur doesn't have TB, can live in peace with the rest of the gang. If only.

Everything micah does ends with a lot of noise that attracts law “strawberry” “stage coach robbery” or ends in instant Pinkerton assault “final bank robbery” “black water” and he’s always encouraging things that’ll tear the gang apart constantly nagging Dutch to head back to black water or go rob this giant boat again or rob both families or abandon Abigail leave John marston

If Dutch killed the girl just because he could in cold blood, he would have done the same to Sadie. I'd take his word for it as it was necessary for survival of the gang. It could be a very similar situation to how he killed the woman on the island.

Very clearly, Red Dead Redemption 3 is going to end with the Blackwater Massacre

So fun fact theres a mission in Red Dead 2 where Arthur meets Micah in the mountains and if you go back to the same spot where you met him after the mission theres a wanted poster for Dutch at Micah's camp

What if rdr3 ends with the black water massacre

If there will be a RDR 3 and prequel to RDR 2, i think the protagonist are the Callander brothers before they joined Van Der line's gang. You can switch from Mac to Davey like GTA 5 , and the Blackwater Massacre is happen , Davey get shot , Mac said goodbye to his brother and escaped. Agent Milton think he killed Mac but it was somebody else . Mac will be playable in the epilogue
like John in RDR 2 , lived a happy life. That's my theory.

So I have a theory about the supposed 22 outlaws. I believe that Micah had recruited those outlaws to take out the Gang after they had successfully stolen the money. Once the lawmen had begun shooting though that other gang joined to protect Micah and protect the money. Micah couldn’t betray them during that time because he was in too deep and they would’ve killed him. After the whole incident goes south Micah has no choice but to go with Dutch and hopefully get the money later on.

the game would have been so much better if we got to play the blackwater mission leading up to the gang heading east but it does leave suspicions for the next RDR game.
