Dogs are good for chasing off predators. Friend of mine had 18 large and small and big dog's black bears that came around were chased off sometimes dog would come back with little black fur in his mouth probably treed the bear. She didn't even have to lock the doors on her house when hear that many dogs in a pack thieves go the other way.

Every one of these or inexperienced City Slickers thinking they can go hunting anywhere and make a easy kill. I know it's fun to get as much footing as possible on the video. A lot of them broke the rules of wild animals even the mountain lion. City Slickers take too many chances with their life. Same thing with lion, they should be in the motel watching Andy Griffith show. Hopefully they made it back home with out a hospital visit. Just like the City Slickers going to Yellowstone to get a few pictures of wild animals and end up in the hospital later because they did not have a zoom lens on their camera. I think it would be safer for all of these Hunters to stay in the city and hunt the gang members on the street they are easier to find and deal with.

I’ve had a sow black bear up my tree, right under my feet. She had 3 cubs with her. She never knew I was right above her until I finally whispered “hey bear”. She jump down the tree from almost 20 feet high in one bound… the then stood up and just looked at me huffing and wondering “what the hell is that?!”
One of the coolest experiences I’ve had hunting in the woods.
The least cool experience was waking up to a grizzly right outside my tent going through our camp (the tree bear was a black bear while I was deer hunting, the grizzly was while I was elk hunting Montana about 15 years ago).
Luckily for the grizzly situation I didn’t do anything other than grab my revolver and be ready, it went away after almost an hour… I was mostly worried it would wake up my younger brother or cousin and freak them out and then things would have gotten western. Luckily my uncle and I were the only ones that heard it and woke up and knew about it.

People that shoot these beautiful black bears for the fun of it deserved to be attacked by them. What kind of hunting is it to have dogs chase it up s tree and you shoot it with high powered rifle half mile away. Do like Indians and hunt it with a spear. You both are more equal and you’re considered a hunter and a man. I’ve watched them play in my yard and they’ll live along side you if you’re not a threat or they don’t have cubs. Mothers are protective if need be
