Our terrain up here in the north do need our military vehicles to handle pretty rough terrain, like look at Finland's battle taxi that can swim and climb hills.

It was the best until Ukraine happened. So many western systems were the "best" until Ukraine happened. Brits won't let the Ukrops commit the Challenger 2s to retain that facade LOL.

"Combat proven" Has it ever faced ATGM's, artillery, FPV's, helicopters, tanks and bombs? Thats the problem with the west, they think they have seen combat. There hasnt been a real war for a very long time until Ukraine.

Somehow after handling a Mora knife, I'm not surprised at all to hear how good modern Swedish weapons are. Also, it's funny how the rail networks are still so relevant in today's wars. Designing the CV90 to fit on a train is a smart move.

All these vehicles have a great platform to work from and look at on how to improve. That would be the STRYKER which has been made for over 20 years now. It has 10 different armament modules and keeps getting upgraded. I have always been torn between tires and tracks on these vehicles. It's obvious that each has it's advantages but I feel tires has more of them. Tracks biggest would be mud and soft snow. The tires actually do pretty well on snow if driven right and tires aired down properly

ok modern IFV, basically i only knew about the t-15 and the Puma, t-15 being russian next gen thing, they probably have 7 of them. The puma IFV did an oopsie and they had to rehaul all of them. THis on is exempt from shitty problems like that.

Canada could make this even better. I think the next generation will be a scout that uses all the 4th gen networking etc. and drone launchers. Maybe with two spike missiels and two switchblades on a turret that houses a 30mm and another long range scout drone with all the cams and a laser range finder. As well a 360¤ HD twiligh telescope cam. And a hot water kettle for meals, tea and coffee. Canada we could make the 5th genration CV90 CAN5G Recon.

This is the ultimate platform for ukraine! Fast agile and can flush out trenches while on the move with its super powerfull 40mm bofors auto cannon! State of the art thermalvision with automatich threat detection! And when slow ruzz atrillery troops zero in its old shitty soviet haubits its long gone to fight another trench or BMP or T-64 or T-72!!

I couldn't believe it when the UK picked ASCOD at the time. Most of my concerns have been proven. I believe the Ajax vehicle will prove to be vulnerable, unsupportable and a danger to its crews. Additionally I predict it will suffer major reliability issues from the excessive vibration and its through life cost will be astronomic - I hope I am wrong but a tracked vehicle with poor mobility is always going to be vulnerable ...... particularly one you can hear coming.

Why do you talk so much and go 4-5 times longer repeating repeating repeating yourself.STAHHHP RNNING YOUR MOuTH!! as it becomes clear in the video your opinion is just not that important. And you keep talking over the actual narrators, the people who built and designed these machines.

As this war in Ukraine develops, I think we need to reconsider the 'detection' advantages of low-profile vehicles. Soviet tanks with their incredibly low-profile did not save them from drones or thermal cameras. Maybe more armor or active protection is the a bigger advantage than low-profile.

I served on this beast in the norwegian army as an infantryman. I absolutly loved this thing, the smooth ride we had through dense forest had me catching up on sleep in the back, and the sgt would wake me for clearance manouvers. then only to get back in it to have a nap while racing through rough terrain. crazy really...

US, Canada, Germany, France and Italy are looking for new IFV's, but are under huge pressure to engineer and produce every single thing in-house. That's why you see smaller countries go for CV90; the irony is, it so much more cost effective to get a vehicle like this, and Sweden/BAE are very accommodating to do technology-sharing, to produce parts, spare parts in the buyer country (just look at the recent deal between Sweden, Czechia and Slovakia). Sadly, the larger countries are spending huge amounts of $£€¥ to invent the wheel again, and it often just doesn't fly that well.

Just did a dive into IFVs because of this video and most "experts" have the CV90 at #4 out of the ten best with either the Puma or Lynx 1st but the CV is always ahead of the Bradley 🤔 starting to think preference depends on what part of the world you reside
