M1 Macbook Air for Android Studio Developers

How bad is the performance hit (test run time) if you also have an emulator running? I suppose this could show a bigger difference between the Air's M1 and a Pro's M1 (more performance cores).

Since you have the macbook air m1 did ever have any heat issues with android studio and the emulator?

Hi, I plan to develop React Native on Expo and also will use Android Studio. What do you think, MacBook Air M1 is good deal?) What is your impressions about this laptop?

My oc 5.2GHz i9-10850K with 32gb ddr4 3200mhz ram did it in 58s on hackintosh in 2nd run. It's sad because it's the same as this small M1 monster lol

As you mentioned that your Mac is modded with thermal pads.
Could you also please show us how much decrease in performance we are expecting by removing these pads?
I mean, I am a bit worried about applying these pads as it might void the warranty.
It'd be great if you could show us how much time it takes for generating these builds without these thermal pads. (Of-course with this latest gradle).
