Its not dead unfortunately people still make templates n use data tables like yajra with it
Ответитьhtmx lets you do all that from your html hehehehe
ОтветитьI'll use jquery for my next project after frustating to all the new js framework.
Ответитьthe thick accent tho
ОтветитьYour video are just your own views. Which may not be suitable for all. You hated Sveltekit love react but people over reddit and hacker news think just the otherway. Unbiased videos like fireship are wanted from you.
Ответитьweirdo, somebody tell me back in year 2010 that don't use jQuery becuz it will be soon dead.. it will be replaced with the new cool kid AngularJS 1.x.. fast forward now, jQuery still being used by legacy app, and new apps in Millions download, then AngularJS 1.x just drop dead, and reborn in different version but way more complicated, overkill process and syntax.. you people never learn really
ОтветитьBut jquery has lots of complex soltions ( ex- jquery ui ). That reason jquery still use in project and also jQuery use in react project
ОтветитьProud jQuery user here with blade templates
ОтветитьI’m gonna start using jQuery tomorrow. There will be a spike in its usage coz people will always root for the underdog.
ОтветитьI will using Jquery forevah... ❤
ОтветитьNobody likes a gatekeeper
Ответитьhindi me bolo yar...
]
It doesn't take long to learn, literally it's like...Bootstrap it takes 1 day to learn and people have been calling it dead as fuck since 2014, and it's still not dead.
Ответитьwho is this guy?
coming and telling jquery is dead???
Who remembers the "YAYQuery" podcast?
ОтветитьI think his channel is dead so he's starting a controversy 😂
ОтветитьAmazing short
ОтветитьThere will come a day when there will be no js frameworks because javascript will do everything natively
ОтветитьWake up to reality 😂
ОтветитьBeo hindi me bolo
ОтветитьThe last person I heard saying jQuery is dead is now using jQuery
ОтветитьIf jquery is not useful because JavaScript is now more powerfull... Why do people need Axios then ?
ОтветитьNo, Jquery will live forever
ОтветитьA year later and it's still not dead by any means. It's still bundled with lots of things so you sometimes can't get away from it even if you want to without a lot of extra effort.
Ответитьdeath? It was too naive to say that. You didn't understand the whole picture web development. I bet you meant modern bloated frontend overengineering development gaining traction. I still use jquery for full stack development, no shit build tools, faster development, lightweight server-side render and it works.
Ответитьi ll use whatever the fuck i want, don't let his dumbass fool you
ОтветитьDo you know? You need to download axios, fetch libraries to use it your javascript. So, it is not present by default in your js language. then, you have to learn their procedures...
Please correct me if I'm wrong!!!
>it's still widely used
>Stop using it it's dead
Please pick one
it’s not dead as long as you can use it successfully
ОтветитьIf frameworks are removed and we go back to plain js, I will stop using jquery.
ОтветитьI think overtime. Libraries will be and less relevant in Javascript if it continues to grow and improve
ОтветитьLibrary of JavaScript hahaha 😂😅😂 this indian has no f clue what he is talking about
ОтветитьHi , which is the best framework for javascript both backend and frontend framework
ОтветитьIt's not dead for sure......
ОтветитьIt's just great and powerful, can't understand calling it as dead. Totally not agreeing.
Ответитьjquery is less annoying than PHp
ОтветитьWhy bother even mentioning Axios if the point is to switch to vanilla JS ?
ОтветитьThis guy definitely gatekeeps. Gatekeepers ruin the programming community
ОтветитьIts not dead, its still a good lib for landings or even small/medium projects.
ОтветитьAs of this jQuery is used on 69 million sites compared to react at 10 million. This is bad advice.
ОтветитьEveryone should still learn jquery. As a junior dev, you will get all the jquery problems
ОтветитьLast time I used that thing was about 6 years ago. RIP
ОтветитьWhat about wp websites??
Ответитьdon't believe him.
ОтветитьFucking cypress uses jQuery, and it is a popular End-to-End testing for enterprises, so no, jQuery is not dead. Like any language, if your job requires, learn it and add it to your skillset.
Ответить4.4 Million weekly downloads and this guy says it's dead.
ОтветитьIt's not dead still its very popular and front end developers using everyday and also it has amazing reponsive web pages
ОтветитьI don't know why there is this forced push to make jQuery dead. Why the hate, bro? Yes, vanilla js is getting updates and improving. But still it's not giving the same comfort as jquery does.
More prominent argument is front end framework exists and they will replace it. Yeah i agree with that to a certain point. But is it dead? No really. As long as it has a community it's still alive
