What about a 12 yr old
ОтветитьCongratulations that’s great news 🎉 I just started potting training my 4 year old son who’s on the spectrum as well as my 2 year old son I’m hoping potting training them together will help them both ❤
ОтветитьGoing to potty every so often is getting too tiring for both me and my son. He is now frustrated and crying. He is holding pee or poop when sitting in the toilet, as soon as you put the diaper or underwear on he goes..so much work for me..any tips
ОтветитьPrecious
ОтветитьMy son freaks out going even on the potty just sitting he's going to be 5 I'm trying to get him on it again. My son nonverbal to.
ОтветитьLove this! Congrats! Such a huge milestone. I'm hoping my 5 yr old daughter will potty train this year. Thank you!
ОтветитьSo happy I came across this video I’m a first time mother and my son is 3 and has autism and is also non verbal and I’m finding it very challenging so this help me out a lot thank you
ОтветитьThanks for this video very helpful subscribed 👍🏽
ОтветитьMy son turns 4 this June and lately I’ve been thinking about ways I could possibly start with him. Because he is under the spectrum as well and nonverbal. I absolutely love your patience and the amount of times you said you had to reinforce over and over. I too, am constantly trying to stay and calm as long as he’s comfortable and okay it should not even be much of a struggle as it is for us than it is FOR THEM! They are definitely amazing in their own way. Your story definitely sounds like a challenge but I honestly believe they would totally eventually catch up to us and try and try as well. Thank you for sharing you gave me hope after being depressed as to HOW DO WE DO THIS?!!!!! Amazing!👏🏻
ОтветитьThank you for this video
ОтветитьI can't get my own to pull down his underwear. He would pee on the potty with it on. He was peeing in the tub now its on the potty but with his brief on
ОтветитьI’m crying watching the video because my daughter is 5 and I don’t know what to she’s don’t have a problem sitting on the potty but she don’t do anything what should I do
ОтветитьHow did you dedicate so much time to take him every 5 minutes or 10 minutes? At home does he have open access to the bathroom without an adult? I am afraid to let my son roam the house so we have a gate in the playroom. He elopes all the time and will go out the doors leading to outside. He can open doors even with child locks on them...
ОтветитьI love your channel name. So creative!!
ОтветитьMy daughter is 7 and in pull-ups. This gives me hope. Thank you!!!
ОтветитьI am having such a hard time with my son going poop pee he’s fine! He’s 5 and also autistic I need help😢
ОтветитьMan I have a 9 year old who just won’t go in the toilet
ОтветитьJust found this video. Want to start by saying thank you for sharing this. My son is 3 almost 4 and is on the spectrum and nonverbal. We've been trying to potty train him for months nothing is sticking. I started to get a bit discouraged so this video gives me hope. I'll definitely try some of these tips. Thanks again for sharing. 💛💛
ОтветитьThank you for this video it gives me hope
ОтветитьOur son is 8.5 years old now and have been training him on and off since he should be. Don’t know what to do anymore 🤯🤯🤯
Ответить🥰😁✌️
ОтветитьI’m still working on it with my kid but this video really helped me a lot ❤️
ОтветитьMy daughter is 5 years old and is on the spectrum. She understands when I say “come on let’s pee pee in the potty 🚽 “ and she’ll walk right to the bathroom and go. She’s semi verbal . Our problem is she can’t tell us she have to use the bathroom. She’ll stand by the bathroom door 🚪 and if we aren’t paying attention she’ll have an accident . Any tips or tricks for trying to get her to tell me or show me that she has to go?
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video 😭 a lot of these videos I see make it seem like 1…2…3. I beat myself up for not doing what all of the world was suggesting such as putting my 4 year old on the toilet every 30 minutes because I’m a single mom and I have a daughter as well so doing that and trying to manage the household and retain energy and patience was detrimental to my mental health. However I am now in a place where I feel like I can take this on with Gods grace and your video truly made me not feel so guilty for not being ready sooner. My son still isn’t interested in using the bathroom on his own consistently but he will be 5 so I wanna try and see what progress can be made with ABA. God bless you and your family and thank you again for this channel. 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂
ОтветитьYa Allah please help me I need to do this for my son
ОтветитьI really needed to hear this!! My son is also autistic and three. He’s speaking but not in sentences and he does not communicate if he has to go potty we just take him every 30 min and he’s pretty good about that but, he doesn’t care either if he’s peed or pooped, need to try the briefs soon!! Thank you!!!
ОтветитьAwww so proud of you mom! I know how hard it is!! Proud of your handsome son as well!!
ОтветитьI am 22 my and my gf adopted her little cousin because her uncle couldn’t take care of him anymore… when we first got Clark he wouldn’t communicate with us.. he wouldn’t make eye contact he couldn’t stay focused for long… I feel like he thinks using the potty is punishment.. I have no idea how to make it fun for him
ОтветитьThank u for this video I have a stubborn 4 year with a tip of autism and don't talk at all too but it's hard
ОтветитьMy son is 6 yrs old and he's still not going. 😞🙏🏽
ОтветитьHe sounds identical to my son. Thank you so much for this video.
ОтветитьAmazing video!
ОтветитьI just found your channel, my son is on the spectrum and he turns 5 in a few weeks. Potty training hasn’t been easy but after seeing this it gave me hopeS thank you so much. You’re doing amazing mama.❤️

ОтветитьSo helpful tysm!
Ответитьmy son is almost 10 and im still having a problem with this sometimes he tells us sometimes he doesnt its so hard sometimes it overwhelms me and my wife
ОтветитьCongratulations 🎉🍾🎊🎈 @rockingthespectrum 👏👏👏👍🎉🎊our son is 3 year and 6 months and also nonverbal he finally go to the potty all by himself at home and school. It was a long journey to get him to finally potty train and believe me all your tips are being very helpful for us to fulfill that goal. 👏👏👏👏 the only thing we have been struggling is when we go out to public places or a long drive we still have to put him on diapers because since he doesn’t talk I haven’t find a way for him to communicate and let me know when he needs to go to the potty. I have been trying to use the sign language for potty, but still no success any advise? I appreciated it 🙏
ОтветитьThis has given me realistic hope with my 3yr old. We've only just began and it honestly seems like it won't happen. Thank you @rockingthespectrum 🖤🇦🇺
ОтветитьMy daughter doesn't candy. I wish she did so I can use it as a reinforcer. That is amazing. My daughter is five and that is what we are working towards
Ответитьi have a 3 years old son that was diagnosed recently with autism.I started watching your vids thank you very much.❤️
ОтветитьThats such good news.. I cant wait until my son finaly learns to go in the potty. Hes 4 right now.
ОтветитьCongratulations christian is getting to be such a big boy
ОтветитьGreat tips!! And I love the part you said about kids developing differently and that they may not be ready at age 3, or 4, or even 5! That's so true!! I read something the other day that said something like "popcorn kernals all go into the same temperature oil, but they all pop at different times". Same is true for kids, they aren't going to get it until they're ready!! My oldest son was pretty much potty-trained by age 3 (though he's almost 5 and we still have accidents every now and then). My youngest is 3 now and he shows no signs of being ready. I'm okay with that too!! We'll wait til he's ready! So proud of Christian! That's such a huge step of Independence!!
ОтветитьYaya i knew he would get it and his success is bc of his parents.
ОтветитьGood for you mom.. you are great 👍
ОтветитьHey have you tried stem cells therapy? I am now in Panama. We have seen miracles.
