My Dad and I always say, "Looking good, Billy Ray! and "Feeling good, Louis!" too 😂
ОтветитьThe ending credits in 'Coming to America' has the Dukes sleeping homeless on the street, and then given an envelop of 100 bills, and they said, "We're back in business!" lmao epic cameo! :D
ОтветитьYou may not realize that this film was written and produced by one Aaron Russo. A person I see as an American Hero. Once he learned that he was terminal with cancer he decided to produce a film called America: Freedom to Fascism in order to expose the world control by elitist oligarchs. Please see this film and just as incredible check out his interview with Alex Jones. This film will make clear what exactly Trump is standing up against today.
ОтветитьThe duke brothers make a small cameo in eddie murphys movie coming to america.
Ответитьgo look movie french "le pere noel est une ordure" classique
ОтветитьIf you watch "Coming to America" with Eddie Murphy, he gives a bag of cash to a homeless man that turns out to be one of the Dukes who shares it with his homeless brother.
ОтветитьWinthorpe, clearly a spoiled, nasty piece of work. Keeps labeling Valentine a n** and dismisses Ophelia as a Prostitute. He falsely accuses Valentine at the start and she laughed her backside off. Got all teary eyed when the tables were turned though, so much so that she was rooting for him to probably shoot Valentine after failing to plant drugs in his desk. No idea how the hell I enjoyed most of her eary movie reactios.
ОтветитьEverything is turning out the way you think.
ОтветитьEasily one of my favourite movies of all time, that came out 10 years before I was born. Happy to find it on my long binge after finding your channel :)
ОтветитьSkipped jamie lee curtis's boobs? Lame
ОтветитьIf you like Eddie Murphy, try the "Beverly Hills Cop" movies! Eddie Murphy at his best!
ОтветитьBest Christmas film bar none brilliant cast and Mozart theme music.. what's there not to like
ОтветитьI live in New York City, and every time they have Santa Con i can just think of the salmon eating scene
ОтветитьIf you ever watch the Eddie Murphy movie called "Coming to America" there is a scene that is tied to this movie where the two Mortimer brothers are homeless and Eddie Murphy gives them some money. It is connected to this movie directly by that one scene. Pretty cool for sure.
ОтветитьThis film was one of best Christmas film and it was telling the important messages about think about everyone who was having hard time with difficult times in Christmas time. 😊
Ответитьthe end is easy to understand as
(a)the dukes got phony report that the orange crop was damaged in the cold weather, this would drive the price up therefore they go on to buy, later expecting the price to go higher, in the end holding oranges they paid up to $142 that are now only worth $29
(b)where our hero's, sold oranges knowing the price will go down once the real report is announced, this where our hero's later go and BUY(at the lower price) what they sold before with huge profits - - (sold high before they buy low)
Please watch Eddie Murphy in Beverly Hills Cop. He’s played some great characters, you’d get a chuckle watching Coming to America, Life, and The Haunted Mansion.
ОтветитьGreat reaction you should react to Coming To America another great Eddie Murphy movie 1988
ОтветитьEddie Murphy remains one of the greatest comedians of all time.
Ответить"I don't understand what's happening"
I've been watching this movie for 30 years with my Dad and we still don't fully understand the trading floor scene XD
Eddie Murphy including the Duke & Duke cameo in "Coming to America" still makes me happy
ОтветитьThe old dudes from the Muppets that commented on everything are Statler and Waldorf
ОтветитьThe man standing next to Eddie Murphy in jail is Giancarlo Esposito, aka Gus Fring
ОтветитьGreat movie.great reaction.
ОтветитьDan Aykroyd wore those white Santa boots in Dr Detroit. You should watch that one! I love this movie!!
ОтветитьComing to America is where Duke and Duke ge rich again from Eddie Murphy
Funny reach through on movies
Buy for a little, sell for a lot
ОтветитьFor the record 394 million dollars in 1983 would be 1.2 billion dollars in todays money.
ОтветитьThe Police Officer testing Windthorpe for Angel Dust PCP was played by Frank Oz who is the voice of Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Animal, Sam the Eagle and Yoda from Star Wars.
ОтветитьThe old men in the Muppet Show were Statler and Waldorf.
ОтветитьThis is not a Christmas movie and neither is Die Hard. Have people forgotten what a Christmas movie real is?
ОтветитьComing to America is even better. And the Dukes make a cameo appearance.
ОтветитьDon Ameche and Ralph Bellamy! Two old pros who definitely deserved another couple turns around the dance floor. Ameche won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1985 for Cocoon. Bellamy received an honsrary Academy Award in 1987.
ОтветитьYou didn’t like the black face scene? The one with a black man and a friend of Eddie Murphy’s for years before this? You are saying eddie murphy doesn’t have guts to tell the producers this is scene is messed up and we need to change it? Or possibly, he thought is was funny and Dan thought it was funny, and they made the scene cause they thought people would laugh? Crazy thinking!
ОтветитьI'm a little late. If you haven't watch Coming to America, watch it. It's a scene where the Dukes are in.
ОтветитьHi Cassie, in case you are still wandering let me try to explaine the NYE scene. So the dukes thought that there would be a shortage of fresh juice so they tried to buy as much Frozen juice stock as possible in the beginning because the price would go up when people found out. When the price was up our Boys started to sell theirs which Is nonsense cause the price Will triple in a couple of minutes... Unless you are wrong and there Will be no shortage of juice at all so now all your stock that you bought at 142 Is not worth the paper the titles are printed on so everybody try to sell as fast at passible before they are trash. But our Boys had Just made a lot of Money selling at 142 and now can buy a lot more stock at 1/5 of the price basically monopolizing the Frozen juice market. I Hope Is a bit more clear 😅
ОтветитьThe Dukes were committing the crime of insider trading, by getting the orange juice report before it was made public. Win and Val, doing an end around the Dukes, we’re committing the same crime, but whose going to say anything. Win and Val, knowing the tru information, let the other traders bid the prices way up, then they began to SELL at 142. Selling brought the price down and the release that the crops would be ok, drove prices even lower. Then, Win and Val began to buy the contracts, at the lower price, to close out their positions. The difference is their profit. Selling high then buying low is permitted.
ОтветитьI'll never understand how the moonlit works. How can anybody understand what anyone else was saying!
ОтветитьIn the trading scene, Winthorpe and Valentine say "sell 30 at 142" which is a promise to sell OJ futures contracts at $1.42/lb so the people around them who have been buying at lower prices think they are getting a deal. Once they hear the crop report and it plunges to $.29/lb they then start buying the contracts they need to satisfy the sales they have already made at 1.42 so they are making $1.10 /lb. A single contract is thousands of pounds. It's estimated they made between $250 and $300 million.... Years later new trading laws included a rule about insider trading which has become known as the Eddie Murphy Rule....
ОтветитьThis was supposed to star Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor, but Richard's drug problems prevented that perfect casting from going forward. ...BTW, Richard was also supposed to be the sheriff in "Blazing Saddles", but again his drug habits ultimately prevented him from securing the role. So that's two additional Wilder/Pryor movie pairings the world was sadly cheated out of enjoying.
ОтветитьGremlins is a Christmas movie.
ОтветитьIn order to be a Christmas movie, the entirety of the movie has to take place during Christmas time. So if a movie has a Christmas scene, but takes place over a year, it's not a Christmas movie. This movie does qualify because the story takes place over the Christmas holiday season. Olympus Has Fallen, a great movie series btw, doesn't qualify because while it starts off with a Christmas scene, the movie takes place over a year or so.
ОтветитьBrewster millions next!!
ОтветитьI hope you're joking about this giving you anxiety lol it's not that serious
ОтветитьWatch coming to America. it's got a cameo from the Duke boys
Ответить
