Kampala traders shut shops in protest against tax regime

People are crying with high charges even the bedridden/ sick pay taxes.every service in Uganda corruption corruption where even officials are requesting for bribes ie census now people are being required to pay before shortlist after knowing payments will be digital wise which is very not everyone to receive money on phone

Lord deliver our country from dictatorship

The solution is Simple, change the Government, discuss the Taxes

That's the language they understand. U treat people u are all not brothers, they favour foreigners.But who we our leaders .ebyesi bimalamu abantu ate nga bigwawo.even obote is now nolonger the president of Uganda.

So you close the shop again you fuel your car, or pay Taxi to Go and see your closed shop? .. Stay home
Poor govt.. has authority for printing enough paper money is the same govt that prints less notes and again increases TAX.!! Really what's the logic.🤔🤔🤔

Where does the government take all these taxes? To pay MPs?, To built hospitals that we pay for their services or ?. We are not happy. Reduce taxes and remove taxes in some areas so as to lift up small scale enterprises.

If government ignores peaceful protests, then it calls for violent means for the traders to convey their grievances

Its important that government starts to listen and address the concerns of Ugandans and not always force its will on the people!!!
