I think the most important is how you invest the tool at home. At least you have to get a high cfm compressor. You have nothing to do without it. Not much people will buy a over $800 compressor for home use right. What we looking for is to get decent result with tight compressor with decent price of paint gun.
ОтветитьIt would be a plus if you could do more rust repair
ОтветитьWhat paint is that that you used?
ОтветитьEastwood! The good stuff. Step 1 should be "save up $2000 for a gallon of paint"
Ответить6 month for paint 1 car lol
ОтветитьThe best video. God blessyou
Ответитьman they need a painter that knows what the hell she’s doing and doesn’t leave orange peel and a shit finish in general that needs A LOT of cutting and buffing. you should never have to sand down clear with 800 grit. it should only be wetsanding with high grit. i can get better results with a spray can then that.
ОтветитьWhat kind of inflatable paint booth is this? Please provide link
ОтветитьJust bought an inflatable booth to paint my Acura tsx thanks!!
ОтветитьI want to see you making the door skin!!
ОтветитьWhat they may not make clear here is that painting a car at home is the most disruptive, dirtiest, messiest, and most labor intensive thing you will ever do. I've done from the ground up, bare metal to completely reassembled 1971 Porsche 911E. What a year-long pain in the ass, but it is a pretty little car.
ОтветитьIs this a joke ? paint your car at home i wonder where the local derm and other city county regulations for painting without a booth ? really
ОтветитьVery professional job👍🏼
ОтветитьDid you do this at someone's house? No, you didn't.
ОтветитьHahahaha that is a bit of understatement "You can do this at home". Excellent video about an insane number of process steps.
ОтветитьHi, could you give me a bit of help, I bought a car that has been repainted all under the hood area and it had a few chips in the paint so I started to repair it but then I found that the entire paint was just peeling off and had not stuck to the surface at all so I used a paint scraper and just remover every bit of the paint back to the original Black paint underneath as the car was originally Black but now I am wondering why the paint did not stick so I can do it again without the same problems. Can you give me any advice as to what to do now. Thanks.
ОтветитьThere is no way that anyone is going paint like this in their home LOL.
ОтветитьHow to paint a car at home. All you need is a full shop, huge garage space, a car dolly, thousands in spray equipment, perfect atmospheric conditions, weeks of time, and full PPE. 🤣
ОтветитьYour car will NEVER look like that if you DYI paint it 😉 great video anyway!
ОтветитьWtf, can i work with you guys...😅
ОтветитьDid you clear coat the door jams, sills etc before reassembling the car?
ОтветитьEastwood killing it with this diy guide.... And they offer basecoat online??? Amazing. I just need to figure out what guns and compressor to get, and if they mix midcoats as well?
ОтветитьThey did it... They finished sanding that door... I'm so proud...
ОтветитьWhat would you guys charge to paint a BMW E39? unprepped and not taken apart
ОтветитьAt home
Ответитьat home???
ОтветитьWHATEVER YOU PUT INTO THE PREP WORK , IS WHAT YOU WILL GET OUT IN THE FINAL SPRAY OUT !!!
ОтветитьWhat color is this paint?
ОтветитьPaint car at home video but it is actually more professional and better results than most paint shops around my country.
ОтветитьFantastico ? Ich sehe Apfelsinenhaut .......... nicht gut !!!
ОтветитьA stop the wind... B prevent grass from blowing on it.... LOL aka gotta sealed garage? hope so or your gunna be chas a flick on paint 360 arounf the car.....soooooooo we painted the Ferd Fairlight wight....... rollers :-) its a sleeper ;-) looks like it came off a farmers field,,, but its low 8's second car....... lotas of pink slips have been bet :-)
ОтветитьThis is the video i was seaching for all these years man, finally showing how to go about it with the whole process!!!
ОтветитьI did a single stage polyurethane in my garage on my Toyota pickup...I wish I would've spent more time on body filler and glaze or whatever...I could've spent WAY more time on the body work, but it went from a 1/10 paint job to about a 4.5/10 paint job. 😂😂😂 Im gonna do my other pickup next but do WAY more body work and paint with a 2 stage. hopefully I'll get it 5/10 🤣
You made this look easy.😁
Damn! Beautiful! I know mine won’t look like this lol
ОтветитьThis "How to Paint a Car at Home" video did a wonderful job convincing me that I never want to paint a car at home. It's so easy! Just do these 400+ steps each of which really requires years of experience to get a decent outcome within a reasonable timeframe.
ОтветитьUmmm..........never mind, i will just go by a new car. The money it is going to take to remove my engine and transmission just to paint the car will cost just the same as to buy a used car that still has good paint.
Ответить280z ...could be 78 like eastwood
ОтветитьHow to paint your car at home:
1. Convert your house to a professional paint shop.
2. Buy 30 thousand dollars worth of equipment.
3. Become a master painter.
4. Paint your car.
Nice work, but when u sand filler to smooth and got trought base epoxy to bare metal dont u think its good to put epoxy again those spots when u see metal to prevent rust? Sprayable filler prob dont have these anti rust features?
ОтветитьBeautiful job, guy's. Perfection takes a lot of work. Thumbs up on this paint work.
ОтветитьNice work, but I am light years away from producing that good of quality.
ОтветитьYou wait 3 days for your primer to dry what the hell if my primer is not drying 15 minutes to sandable I'm done
Ответитьsorry but this is too much of a sales pitch and not enough of usable information.
ОтветитьAmazing process from start to finish. I suppose you just need to focus on getting each step right, trying not to get overly anxious and ahead of yourself.
ОтветитьI am definitely going to buy your products/services and follow your guidance when I am prepared to take on the job on my chrysler 300. It's black and I am dying to revive the whole thing with a new paint job.... just scared to do irreversible damage.
