If you could, get a capture device.
ОтветитьThis was a trip down memory lane! My mate max used this to bench his GeForce. Awesome!
ОтветитьThis is awesome. Keep doing it, please; because I can't. lol
ОтветитьDid you manage to compare your benchmark results to a database (like the more recent 3DMarks can do)? I'd love to see if this was top of the list! Certainly it would be in the top one percentile n'est ce pas? Also... ever looked at a 3DMark benchmark (usually one of the 'key' first four) and said "Holy crap, I'd LOVE to play a game of that!".
ОтветитьMatty discovers weird old tip for benchmarking a Retro Gaming PC. You won't believe number 3DMark.
ОтветитьWould love to see some gameplay footage!
ОтветитьWhat would be better card then the 3DFX Voodo 2 Sli?
ОтветитьI WANT MOAR :D
Ответитьis there 3d mark on 1999 if its real it must be so old
ОтветитьAre the VGA captures ready yet?
Ответитьmore pls
Ответитьyes i like to se more
ОтветитьWhats the song in the background?
ОтветитьDo more please. Do stuff like unreal and counterstrike
ОтветитьAh I remember the good old days of my dad old pentium 2 pc.
ОтветитьI'm surprised by the quality of the content that you post. As a channel that's this good should you deserve more subs and views.
ОтветитьI remember running 3DMark 99 for the first time and being blown away at the graphics lol
Ответитьthats about the same bench mark as mine but the cpu score is bullshit >:( what the hell... i got like half when i have a 500 MHZ prossessor lol :D
Ответитьlove the old games.
ОтветитьIsn't it obvious though? I mean, you build a retro PC with a specific date in mind and keep hardware all period limited. THEN you benchmark whichever games you want to which were released either the same year, previous year or year after the hardware.
Simples???
Voodoo 2 performance scales well in relation to the CPU. I see you had a CPU 3DMarks score of 10463(!) Which CPU are you running?? That's definitely no Pentium 2 (which would score around 4000)
ОтветитьAwesome videos! Looks like you had Vsync enabled during the D3D tests, should be able to switch this off using 3dfx tools or Powerstrip
