ОтветитьThat wasn’t anywhere near the impossible lick.
ОтветитьThis man’s singles are insanity
ОтветитьEverything is easy till It gets fast
ОтветитьMoby Dick by Bonham please ...
ОтветитьUnlike Buddy, he is only holding his left stick with 2 fingers. He's able to gain similar speed but without the same amount of control.
ОтветитьGave fabulous advice!
ОтветитьWhat was impressive to me is buddy rich was a senior citizen in 1982. He’d of been about 65. Impressive he could still get it done at that age.
ОтветитьAwesome 👏🏼 thank you Greyson and Drumeo! You make an awesome team 😁🎶❤️
ОтветитьThere are several drummers better than Buddy Rich!!!
ОтветитьGold
ОтветитьDamn he was good! You’re not so bad yourself 🥁
ОтветитьI didn't realize how old Rich was when he did some of that. Greyson being so young relatively is exciting.
ОтветитьEven El Estepario Siberiano has HUGE amount of respect for Grayson Nekrutman, i think Grayson and El Stepario should meet and become friends.
ОтветитьGreat job man!
ОтветитьNo idea Ben Shapiro played drums
ОтветитьI just have to say, the first lick was not at all the same thing at all in my opinion. Okay sure you got the extremely fast roll which is the first part but what HE does that makes this impressive is the rhythm he creates with the accents and the kick as well, WHILE maintaining the fast roll. Thats what makes this a buddy rich lick, all you did was the basic roll which was extremely fast and well done, but the most impressive and unique thing is the accents he does which you didnt do at all, not even tried to do them it looks like..
ОтветитьI can play pretty much everything Keith Moon played. But can I play it with the same smoothness and feel? I know for a fact that I will never chuck a TV out of a hotel window or dump a rolls royce into a swimming pool either.
ОтветитьI'm 63, And It's good to see that a young Drummer such as yourself Highlight a legend Drummer such as Mr Rich That was an Absolutely Superb Breakdown Tutorial 👏💎👏💎👏🥁🔥🥁🔥🥁💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
ОтветитьI've never played with the inverted left hand, but I've always seen jazz drummers do it and I see in this video what it can do. Jeez. I want to play that tight.
Ответитьbuddy barker
ОтветитьI'm Buddy Rich when I fly off the handle
ОтветитьSo lick #1. Impossible to do as clean or as fast as Rich?
ОтветитьLove your lessons! You are a natural teacher for this method!
ОтветитьIt's really interesting and fun to hear them slower!
ОтветитьYou are THE DRUMMER. The technic pushed to its best. The real drum. You are young, you are amazing, you are a light for this instrument.
ОтветитьGuitarist who wishes he played drums,,, great vid! I'm really thinking of buying an electric kit,🤔
Ответитьdiay si
ОтветитьIt’s not got feel
Yes it’s quick but please I wish everyone would stop trying to copy buddy it’s pointless
Dick cully did it too and it’s not the same. Everyone’s playing is unique
Yet ask yourself could you copy and paste or play buddy rich 1970 perfect no chance no way
You didnt put the syncopation in that Buddy did.
ОтветитьDo you know what the word "impossible" means?
Ответитьjust nonsense noise and every idiot is open them mouth like if they see Peart in action when the kid is not even 1% of what everybody think, what a jerk of people
ОтветитьYou'll never successfully mimic Buddy Rich until you plays for decades hunched over with the worst posture imaginable and ruin your back. Only then will you attain his level of mastery.
ОтветитьTo me the craziest thing was him playing the lip of the snare like he is using two chopsticks while transitioning back into hitting the snare
ОтветитьWell...however hard it may be, they're very obviously not impossible.
ОтветитьFirst black metal drummers.
ОтветитьI like your style man Im subscribed to drumeo but for some reason havent seen you loved it im a big buddy fan
ОтветитьImpossible? I do not think it means what you think it means.
ОтветитьTHE BUS TAPES!!!
ОтветитьHe plays fast, like a robot could do …
No Buddy left hand, no Buddy variations or accentuations … and no soul.
Too could !!
Sorry …
Well, you played it, but slower. So unless you do it, then it must not be possible to reenact.
ОтветитьFuckin A 🎉
Ответитьin the 70s you figured it out your self
ОтветитьI met buddy when I was 7 yrs old already taking drum lessons at cintiolis music store on rising sun ave in 1967 in philly. No one is better even today. He was and is the best. Neil periot said it perfectly he's on a shelf all by himself .
ОтветитьYabang
ОтветитьMy main problem with drum solos is that they are rarely musical. I like to hear a solo in the context of the music the same way any other instrument would play. There's more to music than stringing a bunch of licks together. Obviously, this young man has the skills to do that, but he hasn't developed the musical side of drumming. Solos need to tell a story, with a beginning, middle, and ending. At least that's what all the great soloists do.
ОтветитьVery nice
ОтветитьGreyson is amazing. He's this generations Buddy Rich.
