Can you make a video demonstration of how you clean Nintendo Switch boards with an ultrasonic cleaner? I'd be grateful if you could also discuss the recommended cleaning solutions etc.
It would be great to see a well executed repair involving several replaced components followed by sonic cleaning that ends with a factory clean finish.
Many thanks in advance 👍🏼

I see you finally got the hoof bit for your iron. I suggested this to you almost a year ago. It is the best iron tip for easy joints.

Do you think esd bags are a good idea?😂

Consumers are generally dumb and probably have no clue about ESD or what static bags are for.

Had the most disappointing fix so far, bought a spares repair DAB music centre... was the plug fuse gone and works abs fine, still a tenner for a decent sounding bit of kit with a cool motorised CD door that is like opening a space dock as its a vertical stand type so the rooms be alive with da sound o' music :P Like a muppet I was looking for my stash of MP3 CD's then discovered a hidden hatch on top, USB 3.0 ftw so just loaded a USB drive up with about 16 gigs o' songs and bingo bango verra pleased :D

Alright, Ill take the heat for this. Its my switch board and I didnt have an ESD bag for it. While I was packing, I completely forgot about the ESD and thought about the package handling done by the shipping company. So I used a bubble wrap like a derp. SOWWIE :'(
Thanks for the fix mate (as Usual). No wonder it didnt boot lol. So it was working basically. Now for the other 2 boards :P btw sending you an intersting PS5 soon.

I'm guessing the average person wouldn't know about esd bags when sending stuff in. Or if they do, I've never seen them sold as singles, normally a batch of 50 or 100. Someone wouldn't buy that many to use 1.
Good that you explained why and hopefully gets people thinking!

ESD bags are for businesses to look pro and for sissies. However that reservoir solder tip looks the bomb. I need one now.
