⚠️ For those Legacy Mode ⚠️

Before you mount all size for / (root) make sure you already create EFI and BIOSGRUB partitions.

1. create EFI partition
+ (create partition)
Size = 3MB or more
Logical
Beginning....
Use as = EFI System Partition

2. create BIOSGRUB partition
+ (create partition)
Size = 1MB or more
Logical
Beginning...
Use as = Reserved BIOS boot area

Agh, I keep getting "Windows failed to start". This was my last resort since I couldn't find a way around the "System doesn't have any USB boot option" error when I tried to use a USB for installation xd This is the closest I've gotten though, so thank you anyway!

whenever I load up ubuntu using this method there's a dark glowing kinda smoke cloud that covers everything on the screen unless my mouse hovers over it then it is highlighted... and the pop up boxes are abnormally large... what should I do?

Hi sorry for my bad english, I´ve been trying to do this in two different laptops, both are acer. I do the whole process with unetbootin and create the partition correctly, but when I restart, I select to boot with unetbotin, and then a black screen comes out and says: "windows failed to start A recent software or hardware change might be the cause". then it gives me 3 options to fix the problem but only related to windows, but no options to have ubuntu as my secondary o primary O.S are given... I aready changed some default settings in UEFI but nothing happens.. have you ever had the same problem or do you know how to fix it?.

It seems to partially work for me but when Linux is booting (I tried Mint and Ubuntu) I get a bunch of errors, like it can't find certain files or something. With Ubuntu I was able to eventually boot, then started install but it gave an error about the cdrom and stopped progress.

Can this method be used on laptops without any problem?
