Hi. i just bought a tractor like this, can you please tell me what oil viscosity do i have te use on engine and transmision? Thank you.
ОтветитьCan we have the kid co star these episodes more often? He's adorable 😂
ОтветитьWhy'd they do it at they company that makes them would've done it for any reason they come up with those things
ОтветитьYou should make scrub rails to force low hanging branches to run up and over the roll over bar..
ОтветитьBom trabalho vai muito longe agora .
ОтветитьI think I would let the front wheels the way they were. If it were mine, I would have started sanding and painting the tractor. I would have painted the roll bar before mounting it. Thats just me. You're doing a good job fixing it. Thanks for the video.
Ответитьlove it the story progresses! Love the lad too haha more tractors don't tell mum" :P I've only recently found your channel but am loving the content having recently obtained some old gear myself. South Canterbury based so have to travel further to find the goodies! Thanks for such entertaining and informative footage!
ОтветитьWheels that have dished interiors should never be mounted back to front, especially pressed steel wheels as the force from the axle centre is amplified by the reduced contact area to the hub. I watched a leery youth lose a front wheel on his ancient Morris Oxford where he had done this on all 4 wheels to widen the track.
The cornering forces exerted too much strain on the holes in the wheel hub which tore and enlarged allowing the nuts to pop through. My word did we laugh at the flash little ninny, he was always driving too fast and dangerously round our estate so got no sympathy.
Leave the front wheels alone, its designed that way for a reason, to protect the steering linkage
ОтветитьI've never heard of a mini tractor. Do you mean a compact? Or maybe a sub-compact?
OR, maybe a garden tractor?
!
The tires have directional indicators on them indicating they were mounted correctly. But obviously the armchair experts have done way more research and development than the manufacturer ;)
ОтветитьThat's a good kid you've got there mate 👍🏻
ОтветитьOur 1976 B6000E came with U shaped weights that were bolted to the front frame to help keep her front wheels down. What a great little tractor, logged 100's of hours bush hogging our land in the late 70's.
Bullet proof little machine!
good deal for $400!!
ОтветитьYou could have just swapped the Left and right wheels. Then the tyres would have been oriented correctly without needing the wheels to be mounted the wrong way around. Wouldn't have gotten the wider track at the rear of course.
ОтветитьWow ilike that mini tractor
ОтветитьIt’s funny how the seemingly mundane becomes fascinating, onya mate 👍🏻
ОтветитьI was told not to have the wheels out that far on the front and I didn't listen , Now I have had to replace drive gears in the drop down bit as it had put to much pressure on the front drive .
Ответитьthe front wheel's i would swap left with right.
Ответитьwhere do you get your parts for the tractor from
Ответитьleave front wheels factory specs. make it wider may brake something!
ОтветитьRoll over bars were compulsory in Aussie that likely OEM
ОтветитьHi Marty I had missed this video😕 But as always good. You may have received this suggestion hundreds of times, but I "can't" go through more than a thousand comments😉 Placing the chainsaw where the saw blade sticks out is not optimal. Very easy for it to catch in a small tree when you reverse. Suggestion position the saw so the saw blade does not stick out so far. But absolutely the best 😉 you make a holder from some parts you have on the farm. Which is available to buy for ATVs.
Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪
Great job!
ОтветитьI Love Marty Junior's comment about 'heaps' more tractors. Atta boy Dad !!!
ОтветитьMy first started riding a 2 wheeler with training wheels at age 2, never had a tricycle. I don't know how it comes to be but I'm pretty sure that every boy around the world wants to drive / ride / make something go from the 1st time they see a wheel.
ОтветитьI think your intuition is right about reversing the dish of the front wheels.
In any case there would be little to no stability increase untill the axel rotated all the way to one side or the other, hitting the stop. Cool machine! Chris
Nice seat.
ОтветитьMy husband and I love watching your videos. Watching from North East Texas..
ОтветитьUhhhm, dude are you blonde? To switch the direction of the tires U just switch from left to right and vise versa...
ОтветитьJust found your vid Marty enjoyed it.
I believe you can lower your tractor by taking final drives housings off and swapping left to right or right to left.
Ps. Howdy from Canada
On a lot of the older tractors you turned the wheels around when using planters and cultivators. When tilling they were set in closer.
ОтветитьAnother great video, loved by my 3yr old. Very interesting for us both to watch.
ОтветитьIt doesn’t surprise me at all that it fell over. Those tires are way too skinny. Reminds me of when I drove my Tall tippy CLASS A RV through Buffalo NY during a wintery windstorm. The ac shroud blew off.
Luckily I was towing a car on the very trailer I just ruined a few days ago. It probably kept me from laying on the passenger side window.
I love the videos. I actually try to get anyone to hop up on my tractor and drive it.
Best 400 bucks ever! 👍
Hi Marty! Thank you for your amazing content. I was wondering if I could get some help from you. I bought just recently a similar Yanmar tractor, it has a Powershift gearbox. Unfortunately some days after I got it didn't want to move. It was working fine. I can't reach the seller for assistance. He is not answering my calls.
The engine runs smooth, pto works, and 3 point arms move up and down. I thought maybe the axles are not working but when I shut the tractor off it moves. Any clue or recomendation? Thanks
I hope to see the mini clearing the trail to the bottom soon
ОтветитьYou are correct Marty. Change the rear tires and not the front. Roll bar a bit high. Kind of encourages a roll.
Otherwise, you are a good mechanic. Always nice to see machines recycling into new roles.
Salute from NJ.
We always reversed the front tyres to give Traction in reverse should you get stuck
ОтветитьHi Marty. I was thinking it would be quite useful to use some of those Kanuka logs to stabilize the outer edge of the ATV track. Kanuka is long lasting and with a couple of short posts banged in the logs would help stop the track edge from crumbling away in heavy rain.
ОтветитьYou said inches. Is that because your viewers are mostly American? I thought you were in New Zealand!
Ответитьputting the tyres/wheels further out will make the kubota more stable side to side. the downside to this is as you saw the load on the knuckle will be greater as well as bearing load. could be the kubota guys knew what they were doing??
ОтветитьThat's a very capable tractor Marty, watched the other two on it as well, nice work👍🏴
ОтветитьHappy new year from Dakota Man
ОтветитьUsing the chainsaw to make room for the chainsaw has me cracking up!
ОтветитьDrives me nuts when i see a tractor with the tires on backwards...
ОтветитьJust get different front rims where the offset is zero and that'll give you a few inches which might be acceptable
ОтветитьFar out more and more I'm regretting the fact I haven't subscribed sooner 🙃
ОтветитьDid you ever manage to get parts for this?
Ответить
