Ответитьgot a 4080. i can get 65 fps with optimization on path tracing. cant record the game on path tracing i think

ОтветитьLuckily I see no difference so I'll save money and stick to my 3080 ti. Only thing I did notice was it was darker inside the car but then I have that anyways cause I use HDR.

Ответить55 fps with DLSS on balanced on a 2000$ or more GPU.....I'd be pissed. I had a titanxp that was literally steamrolling everything 4k at 90fps all ultra almost 10 years ago already when DLSS or scaling didn't even exist and now all we have is a fake 4k quality output for not even 60fps...

ОтветитьReckon you could do the same test but use the built in benchmark? Would like to compare using your exact settings.. Frame generation on, DLSS on Quality or off and ray tracing high, and ultra. With depth of field turned off and motion blur off. I have a 4080 which is a significant upgrade in this game compared to my 3090 due to frame gen and dlss 3 (very cool they implimented this so quickly).. but as I only play 4K for the last decade just would love to see how much of a difference it would make as to compare with
ОтветитьPath Tracing looks better in some scenes, but the difference isn't worth the drop in FPS, especially on mid range cards.

ОтветитьOkay so I am looking at both the FPS and the GPU load which is around 98-99 percent on both. So if they decided to make that card with say 48 gigs of vram would that load be cut way down or is it something to do with the silicon, cores, speed? Because if they can basically just keep the 4090 chipset and create a card with a 48 gigs...well why not? vram is actually cheap, the 2-3nm silicon chips is the real cost of producing the chips.

Path traicing is only somehow better indoors but it makes everything dark
Very similar but pat tracing has less FPS and more Watts.
ОтветитьShould've done this with DLSS off (DLSS is essentially rendering at a much lower resolution then up-scaling/stretching the image with some filters and deep-learning/AI processing, then spitting out the frame to screen)
4k + DLSS is basically like 1080/1440p internal then upscaled and presented

I'm struggling to see the huge difference that would worth sacrificing 50% fps.
And in general just to see the difference, even with 0 fps impact, I'm not sure I would say I like path tracing more in a blind test.

Texture is important than ray tracing. Game textures are not going more. Example one: Human dress is like pattern at games. Not looking like real life. Pattern cartoonish feeling is not good. Games characthers are like robot. Not changed at 10 years. Ray tracing is so early for now, useless hardware works.

ОтветитьWieso gibt es etwas, womit man mit dem besten und teuersten Setting gerade mal 55 FPS erreicht.? Das ist doch unspielbar und völlig sinnfrei. Raytracing macht auf meiner 4080 auf 2K schon garkeinen Sinn, weil ich keinen Bock auf 90 FPS und eine Ruckelparty habe. Ich verstehe es nicht. Lieber supersmooth 170 FPS als sowas hier.
