Beautiful people there, thank you for sharing your experiences. May I ask, did you encounter any problem flying your drone there.
Ответить60k and 80k for a tuktuk ride is quite expensive tbh
ОтветитьI think you are paying too much for the tuktuk rides. This is really both a good and bad thing. It is bad because less affluent tourists would be expected to pay such prices as well.
ОтветитьThank you .Look good but if really good why they don't let people vote to chose theirs leader ?

when is comes to the language of french, there are so many letters that are silent when pronoucing. laos just happned to be one of those words that "s" is silent, go figure.
the reason why french added "s" to lao then it became laos. this country has three seperated little kingdoms, lan xang, vietiane, and champasack. when french united these three kingdoms together, they added the "s" to make laos of the three kingdom.
going back, the arch, prior to 1975, it was known as anousavaly then when the communist took over, they changed it to patuxai, patu literally means door and xai means win.
i did like what you both did with the fried bananas, i typically smashed it and dip into the coffee; you guys did it right.
you guys should of gone inside the temple, it's nothing wrong. wat simuang is one of the most important temple in vte.
when it comes to getting a haircut, i like carefree and easy mainetence, since my military days, i just like it high and tight.
when i visit laos, i typically dont haggles most of my frineds tells me, but like you said as long as you got a good value out of it that is what is mean.
the that luang, its covered in gold leaf, i think, but the tip of the it is either 7 or 9 kilo of pure gold. as you may not be aware, the same king, saisedtatirat was the king of lan xang, lan na (thailand, overseaaing xieng mai and xieng rai).
growing up, right after the american pulled out of laos on may 14, 1975, we live less then a kilometer from that luang. my school was just 300 feet west of the temple. still remembered every day, before we were letout of school all of us had to picked up trash that are strewning all over this sacred site. love the drone footages.
khop chai deu... you are correct, khop chai means thank you, but deu is a colloquial word in lao it means "der" or okay. thank you for sharing... watching you from california.
