As an 8, I feel like I've learned to have a fairly healthy relationship with emotions. The good ones are nice, so I try to cultivate and enjoy them. But any emotion, pleasant or otherwise, is only its own reality. That is, emotions are only as real as you allow them to be, and as such, they can usually be ignored or even eliminated when it's expedient to do so.

8 wing 9 and a my lady is a 2 wing 3 and yeah we have presidential level power it’s true.

This seems like such a chaotic couple to me. 2s are compliant and 8s are the LEAST compliant of the enneagram. Maybe a so8 would pair well with a 2? I would be very skeptical of an sx8 with a 2.
