Switching to Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra From iPad Pro - The Best Tablet?

I’m on iPad mini and I use tablets mostly on the go and around the house to consume movies and tv shows so i stopped thinking about a tablet for creative side of my work etc and am seriously thinking of selling my ipad mini and apple pencil and adding the money to get the s9 ultra! Really interesting tablet, but might end up with the s9+ the ultra seems a bit too… ultra 😂

Got the 1tb 16gb ram 5g Samsung galaxy s9 ultra for £1350 no point getting the iPad Pro now they will have oled’s next year which I will also get

iOS - bigger choice of quality apps, by far for artists. Also, the screen ratio of the iPad is closer to an A4 sheet of paper, whereas that “extra real estate” on the Galaxy feels more awkward in the hand, for drawing. The extra weight of the pencil feels better in the hand for me, as well, I got used to the so called “slippery screen” if it bothers you, use a paperlike screen protector. A lot of your pro points for the Galaxy is coming from the perspective of trying to make a tablet behave like a laptop, I, however, am an illustrator, so your pro points aren’t relevant to me.

The sd card slop is the key!

I haven't tried on ipad, but for drawing Clip Studio paint is excellent on android. I have the S6 Life and it's been great to help me get art work done on the go for the ladt few years.

Krita is probably the best alternative to Affinity & Photoshop with it being on the same level as GIMP and being 100% free

Krita is on Android not on iOS. And its free.
TV Paint Pro (high-end 2D animation software) is on Android, and there is no iOS version. Its free too.

Hi can you do a comparison with the double screen Lenovo yoga book 9i. Which one would you recommend? Also can the lenovo use Google apps such as games like codm etc or wild rift ? I'm looking for a new laptop or tablet I can't tell what to buy. Dual screen lenovo or Samsung I can't tell which one is powerful and which one is good at watching videos

I've been using the S7 for two years now. Haven't faced any major issues yet. Been using it constantly for my studies.

If they add snapdragon xelite processor in the upcoming tab s10 utra, it will be match ipad pro's performance in all aspects.

Even if Samsung’s tablet is incredible, I wouldn’t find my happiness on it. It all depends on the needs of each user!

I got the iPad Pro to do Lidar scanning. It's either that or you need an iPhone.

Adobe applications and Procreate app are 2 best reason for some one to buy I pad.

It's all good and game unless you're an artist. There are so many good drawing apps that simply doesn't exist in Android. It's impossible to find an app that you can draw with texture.

As an artist I couldn't switch because Procreate is only available on iPad...

even though s9 ultra is waterproof and lasts longer its heavy to lift because of its large size and sometimes i get pain and there werent many android apps like instragram ipads are easier to lift because it smaller than s9 ultra i prefer ipads instead they re easy to lift and s9 ultra are so expensive that we cant afford it ipads on the other hand are cheaper than s9 ultra

i have watched countless videos on this tablet specifically, and gotta be honest, the was probably the most informative out there, and gave me some tips, especially with the goodlock apps, they arent avaliable in my country, but thats why its good its android, cause sideloading is a thing

I've been an Apple fan for years, but I am a designer and Apple lack of understanding that designers and artists need bigger screens just makes me utterly upset. I am in love with the Galaxy Tab S9. The pen is so much smoother than the heavy Apple Pencil.

It's getting close to the holiday season and I was thinking of treating myself with an iPad Pro, but after watching your review I'm back to thinking about Samsung tablets. I only wanted the Pro because I have so many friends that use the Mac systems and I have a podcast and sharing work to get reviewed is hard between my Galaxy and HP laptop and their Macs and iPhones. Now I'm just stuck again but happy to see that Samsung is an option.
