What's the media creation tool?
The Media Creation Tool allows you to download a Windows 10 install file onto a flash drive (or DVD) so you can use it to reinstall Windows 10.

Why would you need the iso file?
It's quicker to burn the file on more pen drivers or discs. The media creation tool does it only once.
You can also use it to set up virtual machines.
