Neverwinter PS4 - First Impressions - Is It Good?

yes ps4 rocks this game is awesome ive made a GF really cool graphics too.

Found out by accident that instead of pressing L1, just swiping down on the touch pad opens the chat window. Same goes for inventory with swiping left, up for map, etc. Shame it'll only cut a second out of your message sending.

I think I will be picking up a cheap USB keyboard for my PS4.  I made a Control Wizard early this morning, and so far like it.

OMG they didn't even fix low leveled PVP health points for ps4? I've been complaining about this on pc for months. You shouldn't be doing less than 500 dmg and have 30k+ hp in low level pvp. It's horrendous, and aura of courage on a paladin imbalances it so hard.

16-17 hours on the first day of the game? Wow.

i still think the xbox one version is better

I don't have a keyboard but I think I might pick up one of those keypads for the dualshock 4

I had the same chat issues you were speaking about. I had such a difficult time responding to you and the guild until I figured things out, and even then...man was it a chore!!!!! WHYYY!??? But yeh man, if they fixed that, it would be a HUGE quality of life improvement for the game.

Just a small tip if you a planning on PvPing and want the best gear, play stronghold siege as soon as you are 60 it is full of bugs and glitches and the mode died very shortly after release on both PC and Xbox so farm it ASAP would be my suggestion. goodluck adventurers

why re you level 19 and still haven't spent any of your power points. im level 17 and I have been spending mine did I make a mistake?

can u use your pc characters on ps4? that's the only thing that's stopping me from getting it because if u can't might as well just keep playing on pc

FFXIV is the only one that did it right so far with the M&K. Why can't anyone else... Anyone's done it better then ESO tho; who thought it was a good idea to take out o.0.
Thanks for the warning, I really like this game on PC but we have consoles in the house and would love this for that too. Ill probably hold off till it is fixed. The tip below about swiping the pad seems like better then I was hearing. But still it should be automatic when you start typing. If its something in the code then wth not just make it enter or something lol.
People are gonna have a lot fun playing this its a decent game.
Does it have voice chat (ps4 version)? If not making chat clunky must be even more of a pain.

I have played more than 100+ hours on PC.. And I have played it on PS4 too now.. And I must say.. I LOVE IT! I haven't touched Neverwinter for more than a year on PC, and diving into it again on PS4 has brought me JOY! I love this game!

I don't know, maybe you just got lucky, but I downloaded it last night and the FPS in Protector's Enclave was horrendous. I honestly haven't noticed much of a difference between the PS4 and Xbox One versions. :/

played xbone version since release, played the ps4 version and not much difference tbh.
only thing I found is ps4 players do not revive you at dragons.
chat is just a shopping channel with spamming of sale items

Good video, I have been playing since last week. I've played a lot of MMOs but got burnt out so hadn't played in a few years...but I'm hooked. I don't know if it's playing from my recliner, or that the combat feels tailor made for a controller, but I am really enjoying myself through the leveling process.

I'm really enjoying this game although there are a few flaws within my leveling experience but I will manage, My problem with this game is the fact that the bosses are hard. now I know that it's obvious but I can't tell when they are making a move and I get one shotted even though I am nowhere near the red zone. I know I'm very late but I just wanted to get that off my chest.
