What is false positive & false negative results? | Dr Narendra Saini | Medtalks

Dr. Narender Saini, MBBS, MD, Internal / General Medicine, will discuss about false positive & false negative results in this video. False positive means the test reports are showing positive results but that particular person in not suffering from that disease. Dr. Saini will explain this with example.
He will also explain the false negative results which means the tests are negative but the person is suffering from that particular disease. For example, the malaria test might come negative but the patient is having malaria, this is because the concentration of the malarial organisms might be low at that particular time. If the test is repeated after 2-3 days, it might show positive.

My exposure was before 7month after 54 days, and 104days, 5months,7month I took the test for HIV duo and rapid both are negative but I have severe symptoms like oral thrush,dizziness,sore throat,cold,fever,tired,mouth sores lesions,night sweats,headache,cough,losemotion,tired these are HIV symptoms my test was false negative, what I do now pls explain

Sir yesterday I have gone with malaria test . it showed negative , but today it shows positive is it possible .

Hello sir,
Same issue is with me.. every time when i chek my blood test for typhoid its come always positive..even when my body have no typhoid symptoms.
