The entire Ark Franchise seems to stay in a constant state of chaos. Wilcard and Snail Games released ARK Surival Ascended largely as a crowdfunding effort to pay for future development of ARK 2. However, this has now split the ARK playerbase between Evolved and Ascended, and their plan seems to have backfired.
Many technical issues have persisted from the old to new, and workarounds and other means are being deployed to keep the game functioning.
