Why play Diablo 3 in 2024?

I picked this up for the Switch and it’s so addictive. You’ll be playing without realizing that 4 hours passed unnoticed 😄.

Damn shame that D4 will take a long long while to be as fun as D3

Correction: in echoing nightmares, you get a whisper of atonement even if you don't reach tier 125. 125 (atonement gem) is as high as you can get.

Never missed a season since 2012. Always coming back..asked my self what the best game is. After a while i realised that ill been playing this since 2012 XD. If you never played D3 and like this type of games. Buy it now.

i am not a graphics peson, but what makes diablo 3 " bad" for me is the cartoony graphics!
but it is a fun game none the less! played every season since 1.

they perfected the ARPG with D3, I don't see this ever getting topped. never have I ever continually replayed any other game every few months for the past 12 years

Blizzard still needs to add buyable stash slots with no limit of purchase. some of us want to keep our legacy items without playing " Tarkov stash management " keeping other items like quad stat perfect shoulders... no room to organize my stash and after the season ends and you login a 30 day rot timer starts on the stuff you've been mailed so 30 days to sort through the gear from the prior seasons... not the best time deleting all your best items just to play again cause you don't have any room in your stash.

I still play Diablo 3 a lot. I'm not touching Diablo 4

On ps3 diablo 3 still online?

I like 3 better than 4.

1 minute of banter with companions in 3 is better than all the writing in 4 not Even to mention the plot holes and lore rewrites. 4 could have wrote itself practically it was all laid out in 3 how sanctuary came to be. all Skill trees and passives are broken in 4 and overall they feel un finished but mostly poorly thought out

The performance in online only D4 is horrendous! And they want to add Raytracing come march? D3 is mechanically and Technically superior to D4, D4 should never had been an always online game, been playing D3 since season 1 and I'll never be sick of it in 2024 and beyond, The Darkening of Tristan event has always been my fav season and it's back on atm WAHOO! So I've stopped playing D4 for now, the loot system and gameplay loop in D3 I find is personally way superior to D4, I'm hoping by season 5 D4 will be better by then, whimsy dale always cheers me up too on my downer days I kinda wished they added Raytracing to D3 instead, here's hoping 🤞 D4 will be heaps better by season 5, season 2 tho was a big improvement I really hope those performance issues are addressed and fixed ASAP, thankyou again for covering D3 and catch ya on the next vid

It's great for 2-5 days each new season. I play POE seassions i like for 2-3 weeks but i do skip half of them. I don't miss a single D3 seasson and the past 4 or 5 that tiny team has knocked it out of the park everytime.

Hmm, I bought the game when it came out, beat it, and then never played it again. I should give it another go, it sounds like a whole new game.

I really thought they should also give us the extra cube slot
And maybe even the free RORG buff and LOD buff. Just send it

So what about players who don't care at all about builds or gear and play games like this for the story instead?

For me, once I've completed the story, then that's the final thing to do. Finish the story, beat the big bad, fulfil all story points, game complete. I honestly don't get the whole equipment collect-em-up thing.

Just hope they put altar in NS or this update going 2 suck for NS players

I'm not hater of D4 i actually like the game season 2 was blast frst 2 weeks i did lvl 100 cleared all new uber bosses minus lillith cause i don't like ONE SHOT mechanics
If they work harder and add more interesting stuff like i miss shield slam or something like that as a build in D4 in general i miss shield class

I find it really satisfying and relaxing. The colours and spell effects are great. As an example; the health and power orbs look amazing.
Diablo 4 just misses the mark for me personally.

I am always going to play D3, got D4 and cannot stand it. D4 is so boring to me, i cannot play for more than 30 minutes at time.

as long as they continue with seasons on D3 , 100% will play them and will drop Diablo 4 on a side for a few weeks.

As new player i really want to start with Diablo and i think Diablo 3 would be the best one to play now since Diablo 4 is so bad as i heard

Remember level 3 soulshards are also 125 augment gems. No need to do echoing nightmares in season 30 😉

They should do a season that is all of everything. Nerf the crap out of everything, like 1% of current. I’d love to farm for etherals and souls while having clones and kill streaks, and the random triune perk thing.
