This video is bullshit. He isnt a dr or a even a arch support maker
ОтветитьComparing a static structure to a danamic one has so many flaws. I get that it's an analogy but this is how people come to believe that a theragun will actually make a difference. 1, have ypu considered that the floor/surfaces that people walk on are flat? Flat on flat doesn't go when it come to a dynamic structure such as the foot. Simplicity is amazing but, not when you fail to acknowledge both sides of the coin.
ОтветитьThis is a stupid video
ОтветитьDoes a bridge strengthen its.own arch?! ..whats the analogy for then?
Ответитьwell what if you are like me and have been wearing wide toe barefoot shoes for your entire life and still have no arch and severe pronation? it’s called low muscle tone 🤯
ОтветитьIdk about you guys but the load bearing of a bridge isnt the same as balancing a human on on end
ОтветитьStop with the barefoot bs
ОтветитьAfter 6 years of wearing nothing but zero drop shoes, I developed Plantar Fasciitis. As soon as went back to a shoe with a drop and insoles, the PF went away. This completely disproves everything in this video.
ОтветитьHow is skechers arch fit for flat feet???
ОтветитьAre you a podiatrist now
ОтветитьConverse shoes will be ok or not?
ОтветитьWhen a video says the “truth of …” it’s usually common sense or completely batshit
ОтветитьYou lost all credibility with this video, too bad
ОтветитьWhat if said bridge collapsed every time a load was put on top?
ОтветитьWhen wearing "normal" footwear, Tread Labs arch support inserts have been a blessing for my moderately high arches. What you're saying is applicable to someone walking barefoot or in a barefoot shoe. Normal shoes and boots (which are required for work or dress codes) change the way the foot works.
Having a moderately high arch, I always thought arch support was silly. As you say, the arch should be supporting itself. Once I started to use the Tread Labs inserts (name drop because they work), my supination in my footfall decreased, shoes last longer on the outside heal, and generally walking in my boots is more comfortable. People with pronation probably gain even more benefit.
Unlike the religion, I believe in seeing is believing. Zero drop and natural, wide forefoot footwear isn't available, practical, or re-soleable in all situations.
When wearing normal shoes or boots, absolutely look for something that doesn't smash up the toes unnaturally (aka most women's "stylish" footwear).
Oh, I tried Tread Labs instead of Superfeet insoles because a review pointed out that Tread Labs arch was in better location. I'm in good shape, my feet don't have other issues and having arch support has still made my boots more comfortable.
The guy in this vid isn't wrong. However, his advice is ONLY applicable when wearing barefoot style, minimalist shoes which often just isn't possible. Even an an almost zero drop (minimal difference between toe and heel height), arch support still made walking in them more comfortable.
Engineering and biological structures are completely different thing. The foot arch is literally an empty space in the foot. That is why they called human foot an evolutionary disaster.
ОтветитьGet a plastic see through shoe 👟 you gonna see how the foot can be mashed up it’s a cast on the foot 🦶
ОтветитьNo! You are just wrong, please remove this misleading video or add a note that says that it's wrong (and yes I am an engineer).
ОтветитьVery nice 😊👍
Ответитьhe's advocating for barefoot shoes!nI just got my second pair of barefoot shoes! they feel great to me honestly. my toes can breathe and my legs activate better. I think a lot of y'all are missing the point!
ОтветитьU need toe seperator and arch support for overall stability.
ОтветитьThe analogy sounds more like a case for stronger materials.
Ответитьload
ОтветитьI took your advise and squating without shoes and not i have plantar facitis. Now im looking this up, sorry but not listening to your advise anymore. I also DM u on IG on this issue hoping you can help... no response. Dont take this guys advice, im also an engineer and this doesnt make sense
ОтветитьI am looking to strengthen my transverse arch, if anyone has any advice?
ОтветитьSource?
ОтветитьSo crocs 🐊 good❤
ОтветитьFalse information. Please go see a podiatrist
ОтветитьI was just going to buy till i typed healthy shoes 😂❤ thank you for the information
ОтветитьStill Sketchers Arch fit Go Run is very Amazing shoes for gym people ❤
ОтветитьI’m not sure I believe what this dude is saying!!🤔
ОтветитьThis is rather dangerous advice, it's assuming everyone's circumstances are the same, when in reality those who need more arch support are generally in a position where this method of support is needed especially with flat feet and overpronation. Those who are most definitely needing this type of support are going to assume it's not good for them, especially those with flat feet and PTT issues, when in fact it's quite the opposite. Honestly sick of seeing videos like this because the amount of circumstantial advice is non existent.
ОтветитьThat's fAwking great advice MATE! But what kinda shoes are on the market that fit this description?!!!!! Like I know my feet are fukked but what specifically can I buy to fix the shituation
ОтветитьThis is bs. Flat shoes kill my feet. And I love my sketchers with arch support
ОтветитьDo you have recommendations for those of us that have to wear boots everyday for work? My feet hate me. Anytime I’m not in boots I have wide toe box shoes or just go barefoot
ОтветитьIt crazy how people post anything just for views nowadays
ОтветитьI have wide shoes, still have the problem. Any advice?
ОтветитьI hope you are not an engineer. Bridges do have support in the middle. Cartoon bridges as per your example don’t.
ОтветитьI just bought dr schools and my pain went away
ОтветитьI have a 5deg hollow foot and squatting without support wears down my knee's. This is painfull and bad for longevity. If someone with a medical degree recommends special arch support use it. Don't be stupid, I had knee pain for 6 months because of bare-foot squatting.
ОтветитьYou don't know what you're talking about
ОтветитьMy understanding from this video - more confusing.
ОтветитьThis channel opened my mind and eyes. 👍
ОтветитьI was born without a arch
ОтветитьDidn't knew my civil engineer husband can help me choose my shoes because i hv flat feet
ОтветитьI have a collapsed arch in my right foot. I’m 35 years old and have had this issue since I was ten.. I promise you you’re wrong . I have been an athlete all my life so strengthening my feet has never been an issue just sometimes you get burning flare ups. This dude is way wrong
ОтветитьI feel like this is somewhat misguided. When I got arch supported insoles I starting using the appropriate muscles when I walked. As those got strengthened I needed less and less support. They worked well as a temporary way to relieve foot pain and rehabbing the muscles that weren't working before.
ОтветитьThe middle section of the bridge is actually where all the weight is distributed. All the weight from the sides leans towards the middle. Without the middle part, the entire bridge would collapse. This is why Jesus is called "the cornerstone; the stone the builders rejected". Because, without him, everything falls apart, just like removing that middle portion of the bridge, which is called the cornerstone.
Stay blessed.
For which bow leg or knock knee
