If the IMF was great, you’d need to explain to me why poor third world countries would turn down their terrible loan agreements and then be subsequently persuaded or invaded only to result in these loans taking place, either under the current leader or more commonly under a new leader.

Then you’d have to convince me how these countries in question happened to fall on such hard times, without the primary cause being the incredibly deadly interest rates levied upon them
