These sites are great for beginners to learn the basic concepts of coding. If you want to learn programming, they're a good place to start. Best of luck and thanks for watching :)

Hi, thanks for mentioning that eventually payment has to be made for code academy. I was doing a python lesson and 3 parts in it asked me to pay to carry on the lesson. I will definitely be looking into the other websites you mentioned. Hopefully it doesn't require me to pay half way in. thanks

I am a beginner/intermediate python coder, and I swear I have visited Stackoverflow more times than I can remember. And w3school has also helped me in the past. I will be sure to check out some of these websites. BTW Brett, the transformation from TechGumbo to Brett In Tech was amazing! It's good to have a refresh sometimes :)

Thanks for this info. I used to do computer coding in BASIC on my Atari 8 bit and 16 bit computers. So I would really like to dive into programming again and rewrite those Atari programs to use on my Windows PC.

A really valuable survey. I don't know how you cover so much. One request: can you tell Microsoft to fix the tiny "extra large icons" in folder options that everyone with a 4K monitor is complaining about (including me)? If anyone should have clout with MS, you should be high on their list.

Harvard University offers free online courses to learn coding and it's very well structured and enjoyable. It's called CS50 and there are different options like Python, web development etc..
