Glass Onion is the much loved follow-up to Knives Out. It's really good. But even good movies have sins, as you know.

Next week: Horror remake sins & stoner sins.

Remember, no movie is without sin. Which movie's sins should we count next?

I almost turned this movie off at the beginning because most of the characters were just awful but then I realized they were designed to be unlikeable on purpose, lol.

There's one sin even you guys missed,in the scene where "andi" and blanc are in the bathroom and we realise she is accidentally drunk and blanc is chastising her and we hear blanc say "thats 9% alcohol! How many of these things you had?" But if you look closely you'll see Daniel Craig's lips keep moving after the closing of "had" as he says another word or two. My guess is irs down to Dialogue re-writes in post, when there were scheduling clashes precluding actors from re-shooting the scene.

2 more sins:
-Where did Miles get the black leather gloves, before he shoot?
-When Andi finds the napkin, she topples a bookshelf. A plywood bookshelf. She is ultra rich, but buys plywood furniture?

BIG SPOILER WARNING IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE MOVIE YET

So it is revealed later in the movie that Miles killed Andi, Andi was killed before he invited all them to his house. So Miles had already killed Andi before the weekend, and her sister pretending to be Andi showed up to the party murder mystery thing. Wouldn't Miles have been like "wait I killed that girl, how is she here?"

I think the reason Duke doesn't say Andi initially is because it's supposed to be like the Mandela effect we see with him giving Duke his drink. And I think the white bands are there to echo the detective saying Miles does unnecessary crap to make himself seem smarter.

The real movie sin that every movie with the Mona Lisa makes, is that the real Mona Lisa is actually relatively tiny. Movies always depict it as being the size of about an A0 portrait where in reality it is not much bigger than an A4 piece of paper. Visit the Louvre in Paris and you’ll see.

I love love this film. Especially the James Bond guy's detective character. Respect.

But what the hell was that scene after the shooting of "Andi", the killer could still be hanging around, that was some long conversation she and the detective had before she played dead.

Also also, the other suspects just conveniently arrive at the scene all together after their li'el chit chat?
Well... hallelujah! 🙏🏿

In defence of the film, I just hit "world's greatest detective" into Google and first link was a list of 10 real-world detectives. Granted, most of them were historical figures but one of them is a woman still active today (Mary Doyle) so someone with the notoriety of Benoit Blanc would certainly be included on searches like that.
