1) Should've repaired those parts before you sold them at least.
2) Some of those parts might have been special, expensive, and rare parts that would've be far more useful to repair and save for later projects and jobs that you will now have to buy again later at premium......

I fount a Porsche Carrerea, a Pagani Zonda and a Tempest Magnum in a barn once. Bought all three all for about 165,000

The electric car is a Tesla roadster came out in 2008 was Tesla's first car it did share a lot of parts however with the lotus I believe it was the lows of lease so you were close

I just bought the Toyota 2000gt, forgot what it’s called in game. But I found it in the barn. When I finished I didn’t want to sell it, cost about 30k to buy and fully rebuild, sold for 72k. I was so excited, now I have the money to really start flipping cars. Just bought a Shelby cobra at auction for 12k, going to restore and sell it tomorrow.

quick tip on selling stuff you can press V and select durability you want to sell, that saves a lot of clicky clicky

A good advise if there is a mission with a Electric car with engine issues always accept it since it gives crazy payday.

Electric cars have motors, not engines. Engines burn fuel, motors are powered by electricity.

Really think we should be able to scrap parts from or even fix that bus, then sell that bus for profit. I think the Devs should allow & change that, since the bus comes with the shop; but only when you buy the Garage lift expansion. You can't start other jobs on second lift until you fix or get rid of the bus....So what do y'all think. Please tell the Developers, somebody.....

So be careful when buying cars to repair. It can be really profitable but it may take 20k credits to repair it on top of the cost of the car. You can make a lot of money but will need to spend to get it

Hay drae go to the junk yard find engine blocks that are 15+ quality and fix them up. Found 3 in one map and bought them for 650 in all and sold them for 2000+

You should start saving up for the test lane, it saves time and I think it discovers more broken stuff. Plus you get a wheel and headlight aligner

Why did he sell each part individually? Just sell everything at once (V). Also as noted by everyone else, fixing all the parts he would have yielded a much better profit

You can quick sell more than one part in your inventory by pressing v

In case you didn't figure it out like me (found out the hard way) - Barns you can only go to once. Anything you don't buy, including cars, disappears when you leave that barn. If you want to be able to grab all of the barn cars and fix them, you probably want to have somewhere around 150k. I've found that most barn cars need about 50% of the purchase price to fix up with 100% parts if you don't have a massive stock of parts. The profits from flipping barn cars are massive though.
