SONY ZV-E10 Review: Sony's BEST Budget Camera

Is ZV-1 good to produce low light videos (such as ASMR content). I also need a camera that focus face to object close to the lens.

Good review, thx, I bought the Sony ZV1 and went for a walk to test the vlog. My iPhone 13 performed amazingly in comparison, both image-wise and stability. ZV-E10 improves just a bit but if you have a newer smartphone like an iPhone or Samsung, or Pixel, those small devices like Sony under $1000 will have a hard time convincing me :-) Not sure if you looked at Nikon Z30, in this price range it is a way better option, in my view.

My old Sony A6000 has performed like a champ, but it is time to upgrade and this ain't it -- are they really still using that 10 year old sensor?? Agreed the rolling shutter is terrible too.

I really would like something simple and automatic, but at the same time something that has great quality. I don't feel I want to spend £699+ on each camera especially as I wouldn't be using it as a professional. I just want something with great auto videoing and stabilisation and something that will have long time recording capabilities. Can you please advice? Thank you for reading.

Overheats after an hour when you use a full-frame lens. Other than that I have 2 of them and buying another one in 2023 January.

Good review. I've had a zv-e10 for a few months now I and really like how much bang for my buck Im getting. Used this video as part of my deciding to get it, now coming back to see if the active stabilization is as bad for others as it feels for me. Just wayy to jittery and gives you a false sense of security. It's a broken crutch. To people using this camera, don't rely on it.

I'm a beginner which wants to find a sony camera for both photo and video. Right now I'm deciding between a6400 and zv-e10. I'm this close to choosing Zv-e10 but the only drawback is EVF. Do I really need it or can live without it? BTW, for now, I want to stick to the 16-50 kit lens.
Please let me know which one you'd choose if you were me. Also any other alternative suggestions. My budget is below 1k USD. thx
