How are you connecting hard disk to raspberry pi; I think that step is missing in the video; we are able to get raspberry pi 5 with NAS will wait for it

When I try to SSH in to my pi I get "port 22: Connection refused".

The hdd need to be exfat or ntfs?

update: the default username pi was removed for security purposes in the latest build.

my share folder changes the permission an ownership of the folder to root after mounting the hhd, not able to paste in to shared hhd, only view, need help
