I’m uncircumcised and I’m disgusted at my own foreskin. I look at it and I’m like “ugh get this nasty skin flap off my stuff”. I’ve been keeping the skin pulled back on its own for long periods of time.

I’m circumcised and wish I weren’t. I like the look of an uncut guy. I think it’s hot. Circumcision is not natural or unhygienic. We’re born with foreskin. The US is big on circumcising but outside the US uncut is very common.

I'll say it.
I have no shame of my body, but I know that my circumcision was a total violation of my rights, and later my trust.
I've associated extreme pain with the tip of my penis my whole life, way before I knew what circumcisions were.
I think most people block it out and suppress it without ever processing their trauma, because it's genuinely one of the most horrific things I can imagine having to experience against my will.

I think the procedure went fine for what it is, but within the first day or so of my life, I experienced, sexual abuse, followed by extreme pain, and yes, the loss of part of my body that I will never know...And that is just standard procedure.

I think my interpretation is similar to almost everyone's initial feelings when they find out they were circumcised and what that involves. Most people justify it for health reasons, but frankly those studies are utter bull s**t.
There is harm in circumcision, there is no health risk in keeping the foreskin(especially in the west), and if you don't agree, you should be allowed to get circumcised when your a consenting adult.

There is not a good religious freedom case either.
because this violates the child's religious freedom.

If there is one thing I am sure of, it is that there is no benefit to preforming this procedure on a child that wont out way the cost.
And the cost purely on a subconscious level can be deep.
