It was so kind of you to show them how to play though - like showing how to extinguish the On Fire status via dodge rolls. I feel bad for them having such a devolved version of Gungeon to play.

Limited collab events for a rogue like that's already gotten collabs in the past and kept the items from it sounds... kinda shit? Why couldn't you just keep the collab items once you've unlocked them, inviting you to play the game when a collab is on? And then cycle through the collabs monthly or something, it's not like the devs won't have access to Devolver games anymore suddenly.
There's no FoMO if you don't get anything from actually playing the collab.

Yup it’s laggy. Pretty sure it’s cuz the servers are in china my connection always is red or yellow.

Different players having individualized loot pools is hardly a synchronization issue; I think of BL3 as an example of this

Sure, compared to traditional local co-op it could seem like a sync issue, but it seems they've decided otherwise
And seeing as how public games are a thing, and "loot ninja" behavior could easily become irritating in such a scenario, I'd say it's justified, albeit non-ideal for all users

I am surprised that they made the co-op much better than in the regular ETG game because in the regular game, the player cannot go off-screen or see the enemies that are off-screen if you wanna look at a specific direction, while in the chinese version yoj can do that

To be very honest, I thought the starting room statue was censored into the Cult Of The Lamb to avoid depicting a skeleton

it just gives you both a weapon/item
why would it try to sync it, i think it's more fun if everybody gets different weapons rather than you both get the same one

All this effort for a Chinese mobile game and none of it is on the PC or other ports?? It just seems wild to update a game for such a specific audience and not anyone else
