ОтветитьBro an error is coming while persistence and it failed burin
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьYou rocks !
Ответитьjust one question how you install such a heavy system on a usb stick in that less time ? i mean just format that and boom how that happens without actual setup?
ОтветитьHello, I forgot the password of my session. Anyway knows how can change my password?
ОтветитьHi previously i encrypted using above method but now i cannot see persistent drive which it previously showed what to do if i want to see files of persistent drive can i mount it?
Ответитьamazing tutorial and perfectly explained , could be done by someone BRAND NEW to linux like myself
ОтветитьBy the way how do I save before I logout? Thanks again for the video.
ОтветитьThat was a perfect presentation/tutorial mate.
Ответитьin my case the partition for persistence is the /dev/sda1 but the terminal says “Device /dev/sda1 is in use. Can not proceed with format operation”.please assist
ОтветитьWill boot every option but encrypted persistence
ОтветитьAre persistent USB drives reformatable , or persistent means it can't be wiped clean to normal ?
ОтветитьI got your commands to work but only if I choose live encrypted persistence at boot, but the persistence doesn't work. It asks me for the password, but none of my changes saved. Sigh. You really should redo this video.
ОтветитьThx :)
ОтветитьI followed everything step by step and it works, however, you pointed out that everything I do should be saved, and in my case everything deletes after logging out. Only files that I store in persistence are saved. I also can't download any programs whatsoever
ОтветитьI did exactly all the steps but for some reason, i face the issue Device /dev/sdb2 is in use. Cannot proceed with format operation
Command failed with code =1 (wrong or missing parameters) because the sdb2 persistence partition created by RUFUS is auto mount after run the live boot.. and the live boot is working like the persistence boot option... i tried to umount /dev/sdb2 from gparted software but this get face the same issue.. /dev/sdb2 is in use.. i really don't know how yours work just fine and doesn't auto boot and mount the auto created persistence partition! i face the same problem before years with RUFUS and the only way to make it work was to just write kali image on my usb and then boot to live and create a partition by my own and run the steps after! no time for this now man, any opinion that could work? I umount sdb2 hows is possible to be in use?
✌️
ОтветитьWill it work for kodachi?
ОтветитьHow can i skip
Ответитьsearched for days and spent hours mucking about with archaic and old methods to flip this trick just to find out this is now a 5 minute no fuss, no muss job with RUFUS 3.16 and up.
It has a tab to set up persistence even before you setup the usn installer.
Hope this helps someone, peace
Nice video! Thanks for it! One question:
I noticed that when I opened the file explorer after this setup, the free space under the /home/Desktop, for instance, was of only 3.8 GiB not equivalent of the 32 GiB encrypted persistence partition that I have created. Should my home environment not have 32 GiB of free space? Thanks for the help in advance!
Hi friend, you must help me because i encrypted my hdd.. by mistake. I typed it what you was typing unfortunately it was a mistake, now I can't reach my disk i know the password but i can't reach it both systems, so please help immediately, there is a lot of important data sir.
ОтветитьHow hard to crack this endryption is?
Ответитьthanks man, this way is much better that the oficial kali doc about this.
ОтветитьThanks from BRAZIL
ОтветитьWhat have i do if kali linux does not ask me for passphrase and does not use persistance?
ОтветитьJust what I was looking for. Thanks friend. 🙏🏻 Subscribed.
ОтветитьThanks a lot! It was greatly explained.
ОтветитьI keep getting stuck when attempting luksFormat the persistence partition. It outputs that the partition is in use, but even when I unmount it the error keeps returning.
ОтветитьIt says the device is in use. “Can not proceed with format operation”
Ответить<3
ОтветитьDude thank you!
ОтветитьWhen i type sudo e2label /dev/mapper/encData data says that there Is no such file or directory while trying to open It couldnt find any valid filesystem superblock
ОтветитьCan I, do same steps for the installer Kali on bare metal?
Ответитьin my case the partition for persistence is the /dev/sdc2 but the terminal says “Device /dev/sdc2 is in use. Can not proceed with format operation” I’m sure I booted from the first option of the list as you explained in the video. Any idea to help me my friend? thank you in advance
