In answer to the vACE question, Cisco has now partnered with Citrix to provide their Netscaler 1000v as the preferred solution for ADC.  ACE is no longer a Cisco product.

In regards to discussion at 31:48 thr' 37:00 : Managing all these multicasts trees at the converging Layer 3 device seems to the current VXLAN protocol limitation. Secondly, I haven't come across any proposals that address the multicast over VXLAN issue very well elaborated by one of the gentleman in this discussion.

one difference seems to be multicast is required to use VXLAN while OTV doesn't require multicast (see video @ 45m04s )
