Can somone tell me what produces the little information drawer when he mouses over a character sheet? I cannot find this anywhere
ОтветитьHow did you get the combat turn tracker to pop out
ОтветитьIt's stuck just rolling critical hits. Any advice? Sw5e. I'm only running 23 modules. Please help.
ОтветитьIt's frustrating that nowhere in the entire module or readme does it tell you how to target a creature. How the hell do I do this as the GM?
ОтветитьTy for the reply before! A slightly less noobish question this time: Is there a repository for midiQOL macros/actors/items (whatever you call them, the things you drag and drop onto character sheets so that everything gets automated for a particular feature/spell/item)? A module or something? I've found a handful of automation macro modules but they've been pretty lackluster and google searches aren't giving me much (sometimes a reddit post with a single script and no explanation how to import it).
I'd imagine people have written scripts for just about everything.
Awesome videos! Ty!
Wish there was something like this for the Starfinder system.
Ответить...But how do i start an encounter?
ОтветитьHey mate. Really nice video but Im struggeling to set things up. Can I ask which version of foundry are you using here?
ОтветитьHe said at beginning that he runs with fast forward disabled as he trusts it to get the conditions correct but screen showed them enabled? If it's enabled then the smarts behind midiqol will auto do advantage/disadvantage?
Ответитьi wanna thank you Tim for your contribution and all explanations. Thanks a lot @Baileywiki!
ОтветитьThank you so much for this wonderful interview.
ОтветитьFantastic, I installed midiQOL a while ago; the things I figured out were great, but I didn't know the full extent. Thanks for making this!
ОтветитьHi, what is the module that provides you the quick buttons at the top of the screen for the players. Inventory, spells, Effects, Utility? Thanks
ОтветитьIs there a video series dedicated solely to Midi-QOL's configurations that does not get distracted by ALL of the other mod effects that are happening? I really want to learn more about Midi-QOL.
ОтветитьToo fiddly. Need a VTT with a clean interface / GUI without having to watch hours of videos to figure it all out.
ОтветитьThis is just so useful I don't know why they don't just make this default for the 5e system.
ОтветитьMidiQol is breaking atm and i' not sure why. I haven't added any new mods but things like active effects on spells adding to AC and healing spells not adding healing anymore.
ОтветитьGreat tutorial. And the most important advice in my humble opinion echos what Tim says, which is read the documentation - midi-qol and dae (whilst playing with the settings and dae effects). Great work people!
ОтветитьNot sure which module is causing this, I installed the ones mentioned and did most of the settings the same way as you were walking through them.
I used sleep, placed my template and rolled the damage tab to see who would be effected and it actually caused the 5d8 damage to each target in the template instead of just giving me the hp numbers.
Yes, i can work around with manual dice rolling but thought I should point it out and see if anyone knew the best place to modify this to a roll instead of damage given.
Love this! Please release part 2 and 3 soon bc I'm intrigued by the "out of range" comment Tom made. I've been trying to find a range mod that respects normal and long range and applies disadvantage for long
Ответитьi hope in the future automation will come to pathfinder/3.5 D&D, 5th edition gets all the good stuff :(
ОтветитьHow do you get your attack and damage rolls to display next to each other in the chat scroll?
ОтветитьIt's funny. Baileywiki sounds like me whenever I look at someone's Foundry set up: "Hey, what module is producing that effect?" Except that he actually knows what he's doing whereas, I just stare in awe of all the cool modules out there :) Great job on explaining this! It's nice to peek under the hood once in a while and understand what's going on.
ОтветитьY'know I was thinking I was done tinkering with my game. I was wrong. This is great, I can't wait to test this out and see how my players like it.
ОтветитьThe flying player being able to see over the wall was called out as being supported by "Better Walls". Is this a module in development that's not available yet, or just a mistake in the name? The only module I'm currently aware of that handles that sort of thing is "Wall Height". Unless "Levels" and/or "Better Roofs" have similar capability?
ОтветитьI have an opinion Q. I use CUB, but I see that you use Dfreds's Convenient Effects. What are the reasons, if any, do you prefer that one? I am too new to be sold on anyone specifically.
ОтветитьThis is awesome, so much I wasn't aware of.
Question: can MidiQOL let you type in hit/save/damage rolls? - I have some players preferring to roll physical dice
This Module is a monster for people who are new to dnd and foundry. This video is a really good start to get into the functions of the module. I think, videos are the best way to show how the complicated modules work. Thank you.
ОтветитьEverytime you intro something I get so excited. I'm getting giddy watching you introduce this.
Ответитьlove this video is going to really help me with a coming boss fight to speed things up
I'm struggling to auto apply status conditions like poisoned any advice to help with this?
I have both Convenient Effects and Combat Utility Belt installed
Another amazing tutorial/ interview!!!! MIDI QOL is a must have and is so deep it needs these videos to utilize it to the full potential. Thanks!
ОтветитьThis is so very cool! Now to convince/bribe Tim to make this available for Pathfinder 2E :D
ОтветитьTHANK YOU!!!
ОтветитьSo good - thank you!
ОтветитьOmg, wasn't explained in the video but showed me that the chat boxes can condense all the info into one box and make it look like Better Rolls which I'm trying to move away from, and enable so many more features like reactions etc. Thank you so much!!!
ОтветитьThank you for this! I've spent countless hours playing with MidiQOL and still barely understood a lot of it. I'm looking forward to the next two parts!
ОтветитьWow! More eye openers. Started slow but then ended before I was ready for it to end. TY for bringing Tim Posney to share so many insights. Looking forward to the next part.
ОтветитьYo Tim. Just want to say your module is damn genius. You have made my year being a Dm with this mod. My players are loving it too.
