To be honest, I'm not impressed. With that many people that is all that could be done? There was nothing special about this. Basically it's just numbers. Reduce it to 10 people and no one would care. The Japanese can do 1000x better with 10 people. Not sure who came up with the rhythms and choreographing but they failed.

I wonder if those in the audience who actually cared to listen to the performance could even hear the drums over the people clapping who couldn't stay on tempo for more than two seconds.

I was 4 when I watched this live on TV but I still remember this. Amazing to see again.
