Does running Windows 11 on Mac M1 slow it down?

The last Parallels I liked was 14 as it was the last time you could BUY the professional level software, though it was before the professional name, and simply allowed allocation of as much ram and as many cores as you like. I simply am boycotting Parallels because I’m tired of not owning what I buy and the fact that they’re basically out to screw customers by not selling both versions, instead only having a subscription model on their full software.
Frankly this is the same reason I’ve not bought a new Apple computer and am still running the latest MacBook Pro that allowed for ram and drive upgrades as it the last MacBook you can truly keep running and out of a landfill.

Parallels Desktop never worked on my Mac Studio. Installation went correctly, but network connection of VM never could been brought to life.🫤🙁
Do you know, wether the OpenCL support of GPU is emulated? Can not imagine that, but Apple silently killed OpenCL on their GPU, only supporting on CPU at the moment. So, may I use OpenCL inside the Parallels Desktop? Maybe not…

The XBox 360 is Shit by Today's Standards. The PS3 isn't.
10 year Old Macintosh Software is Shit. Today's Macintosh is good.
10 year Old X86 Windows Server 2012 would also be good.

If we could get Windows 7 / 8 or Windows Server 2012 to Work, that would be great. However, it would take too Long and Not be Worth it.

Windows ARM software is Sh1t. Macintosh (including the latest) is better.
Although PlayStation 3 is 10 years Old (PS4 released 2013), is Good because the PS4 is only Minimally better. The PS4 was faster using Multicore / Multi threaded. Splitting the Game Engine over Multi Cores does not Scale Linearly. So the PS4 was only Minimally better. The PS5 is just Faster Load times with SSD HD. The PS3 has Good, Long RPG games like Assassin's Creed. Even the PS2 has GTA Vice City.

Zoom won't enable virtual background on Windows ARM. For those of us who spend hours on Zoom calls everyday, this is a deal breaker when trying to use Parallels on M1 macs.

I liked the video, but what I'm trying to understand isn't the start/stop fluidity. I want to see the realtime input lag when switching between macOS and Windows apps. I'm fine with a 1-2 second delay between my switches its the realtime user experience. I'm configuring a machine for my dad who uses some older windows programs and then wants to drag some files into email.... idk if that makes sense. Its more about the usability of parallels and that painful lag as memory swaps occur. We're talking 'old man' usage here ie running the scanner, using quickbooks, pulling an iPhone image into outlook etc. system file management. how does the macOS transfer between Windows 11... does that feel snappy?
