I Paid $300 for a Personal Colour Analysis in Korea

You are slightly warm but I don’t think warmth is a dominant feature for you.
Just because we all have temperature, contrast and lightness/depth, doesn’t mean we have those features equally.
Most of us have dominant traits.
You appear to be medium to high contrast, slightly warm and muted. Deep autumn’s are not muted. As a deep autumn we actually lean vibrant and we look good in intense, strong colors.

When I look at you what pops out immediately is your mutedness.
I think you’d be happier in a soft season.

Maybe i don't have the eye to see it as well as these professionals, but I think a lot of this is a 'pseudo-science', for example, the blue only made her look like "avatar" because it was so saturated and it was literally reflecting onto her face. and some colors may look either "good" or "bad" but there's also an element of looking "youthful" or "sophisticated". if u wanna look youthful you might not wanna go with wearing that deep burgundy color. i agree some colors look better on ppl than others but it can only go so far, colors have more meaning attached to them than just harmony with someone's own coloring, like purple used to signify royalty, which also plays into the whole picture of someone's perception of you

This helped me so much! I have very pale skin but I think I am neutral-cool type of olive where you are warm..maybe? Still kinda lost lol. May be helpful if you want to wear blues, but I've read that autumns can wear "harbour blues" - and if you look it up, some of images seem to be warm-toned blues, so I'm sure there has to be a shade if not multiple that suit your season

I’m neither yellow or red undertone… Mine is neutral! Also, Ik there are people of “olive” undertone! Why do some of these places don’t usually mention both of these?

This is all nonsense.What looks good on you is your personal preference.I guess you should be smart enough to decide the color of your choice and not wait for some other person to do that for you.

This color theory is nice but i disagree about disregarding all the other colors bc they didnt look good on her at the moment. Its a color square in a fluorescent light. If she was trying on those colors with different outfit cuts, patterns, and style it would bring a different more flattering result. Also if she wore a red lip stick or a pink lipstick the red and pink would have suited her. This is not as simple and accurate as it seems bc syle and make-up and accessories can really pull a look together. I would never dismiss any pop of color based on a color swab sheet test. But i do agree some colors can washout a persons skin tone and some can bring out there tones.😊

I don't like the way this woman does colour analysis. If you look at other companies, like house of colour, they show you how to wear almost any colour. It just needs to be the right temperature and intensity. They wouldn't just flat out tell you not to wear blue.

She seems way better than the two I contacted. Both were rude. The one I booked at blamed me for her sending me the wrong address. She moved and didn't update her meeting invite. Her excuse was she only DMs on Instagram and I didn't provide it. But she had my email and contacted me via email when I didn't arrive.

Rlly off topic but it made me think abt wedding dresses and I would be so sad if white/red/pink is not my color 🧍🏻‍♀️Chinese weddings use red, my mom used pink for her's. I could choose white in Canada too but yah, just a thought lol

please do not set an unnecessary boundary for yourself u look good in most of the colors unless the color itself is not a vibe (IYKWIM)

You have a very strong olive skin tone (green tint). Did she mention anything about that? Mine is olive too but it makes it so hard for colour analysis. Is it possible to have a warm undertone with olive skin??

I wonder if artists would be naturally good at this? I'm a painter and my closet consists of a very specific range of colours that most people would only consider wearing in autum. And not the bright interesting sort but the dusty dull looking range of colors that don't look pretty on a hanger but they look pretty on me. I sort of naturally went make it fall but rub some dirt on it or give me a bit of spring but make it dusty. 🤔
