What is the name of the organic almond grower in California?
ОтветитьYes you would have to have faith in God as republicans never let you get ahead!
ОтветитьShe said that the rose of Sharon flowers were in the marshmallow family! My kids would love those!
ОтветитьVery informative :) about drying bananas I thought the same and didn't like them the first time and didn't trie nothing at all after first time for years... found it useless... but ... now I tried it again, longer time ... and now...hoooorrraaayyy... they are so crunchy great tasting, I love them soooo much... before, I always had so many bananas left and had no use for all, now they are eaten allmost, as soon they are dried :D
And now the "dryer" is running almost every day, because its so much fun, taste good and I find allways something :)
I drie vegetable and blend them for a instant soup...yummi... :)
Now I try mushrooms for soup... 😀 .
Sorry but my misophonia made me stop this video at the fourth lip smack
Ответитьplain dehydrated banana is really good. No need for leather
ОтветитьMy dad told me MASH was racist and forbade me to watch it. It made fun of Koreans.
ОтветитьStop all the talking and just show people how to do it. Thumbs down.

ОтветитьThis video should be wrapped up in 15 minutes.
ОтветитьSilicone not nylon
ОтветитьI love rose of sharon

ОтветитьI was looking this purslane up as you recommended and this came up: Is purslane poisonous to humans?
"They are poisonous and should not be consumed". WHAT? Can you explain you eating this?
That's been done for hundreds of years, nothing new, go do something useful.
ОтветитьWow. Someone asked what paprika are.
ОтветитьDon't pour water in the sink - save that water to water plants because it has nutrients. Mary's Nest is a good channel. I love this channel too!
ОтветитьThank You for helping
ОтветитьIf you don't blanche potatoes they will turn black.
ОтветитьDid you know that you can make your own apple cider vinegar from all those apple scraps? :)
ОтветитьI love your lifestyle!
ОтветитьOnly americans and canadians think of a coco as a furry brown thing. The rest of the world knows it is green or yellow variety depending and the size of a basketball
ОтветитьThis is amazing. I’ve always wanted to do this. I think this is a sign to try it. That would be amazing to have varies fruits & veggies dehydrated during a natural disaster.
ОтветитьI put parchment paper on my Excalibur Dehydrator. I love it!
ОтветитьBrake bleeder hand pump.
ОтветитьWhy do you have the 666 symbol in the center of your flower logo?
ОтветитьThank you so much for this knowledge.
ОтветитьWonderful 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💐
Ответить6 years ago ! Vlog
ОтветитьI'm watching this in January 2023 and I smile at your insight to prepare. I've been a homesteader for 40 years and never called all the canning and dehydrating prepping. I also enjoy fermenting and recently purchased a freeze dryer. I'm busy everyday doing at least one of these to preserve my foods.
ОтветитьCapay Hills orchard for the raw un pasteurized almonds. Barhi are super delicious! Thank for this teaching video!
ОтветитьBrake pump
ОтветитьI'm a Brit who spends a lot of time on this app. I'm interested in food so I get a lotbof people like you. I'm also served up with Marjorie Taylor Grrene and Lauren Bobaert. Who is the real America cos there seems to be a massive divide
ОтветитьHealthy channel, very smart to prepare goods for long journey and years ahead 👍 😀
ОтветитьWhat is the name/spelling of the Italian jars?
Ответитьthanks for the video , i am fully egree in this sense to be as more as we can to be self-substainable in own food production and in the way how to keep it stored for longer times by a natural way and if the way of concerve it is even healthy than bad for owner health , thats two things we can do to be more independend to the food business, and if it makes us even healthyer thats just a win win sytuation , i use fermentation since years and try to grow as much as i can every year , plant all kind of fruit and vegetable , it gives us even a better look to how dificult it is to be self substainable to produce owner own food , i like watching such kind of videos , thanks a lot for this one , thats great , sorry for my english as it is not my laguage ;-) greets from the dutch belgian side , Carl
ОтветитьHi Kelly, first time I’ve seen your channel and I just love it you’re very informative for a healthy living. I had a question about doing the jerky with the zucchini and eggplant after you salt it and let it sit. Then you said to rinse it and then put it in the marinade. Now I’m taking you just mean rinse it real quick under water and then do I pad it dry with a paper towel or something? I was wondering if it would absorb that water back in or not. Thank you and I hope you have a blessed day.❤
ОтветитьSorry, I would never freeze in plastic. When it thaws microscopic plastic will be there. I fill my glass container half full and freeze it then fill the rest to ALMOST full, a!low headspace, then finish freezing. Studied this in college.
ОтветитьThe thing that sucks is some of us cant afford even a cheap dehydrator cant get a freeze dryer and hell jars and lids are expensive these days cant even get that its sucks not having money and barely making just enough to keep a roof over your head and kids and nieces u had to take in and dad that had pancreatic cancer and you and your husband 6 kids 3 adults in one home thats alot of people to take care of feed and 5 females and 4 males in the house Lots of female products having to be bought food bills gas money its alot so some of us cant afford to buy any of this stuff to be able to store food in other ways and i will tell you it sucks really bad cause its something we would love to do but when you cant do it you just do what you can to take care of everyone in your home and i will continue to do so and make sure my 3 amazing nieces are taken care of and my 3 amazing kids have to make sure they are fed in the now cause i cant worry about the future when you dont have the money to buy the things you need to put food up for the future
ОтветитьCan not recommend the actual fermentation of food / meat in a sweet brine because she has NEVER done it. I have and I plan on doing much more of it .
Fermentation is Fermentation is Fermentation of shine or Sauerkraut or meat .
Would it be possible to keep the Q & A for the end of the video so as not to take up time for others, in the future, please? I really appreciate this video but the constant interruptions from people asking questions as you’re in the middle of explaining stg is really annoying.
ОтветитьHow do your glass containers do in earthquakes. I use plastic bags.
ОтветитьI was wondering if you think the teflex in a dehydrator is safer than a Teflon pan? I read that teflex & Teflon are similar product & both are from DuPont. I try to avoid the Teflon pans but the teflex seems like it would contaminate food less because of the lower temps.
ОтветитьYou don’t like plastic, but your dehydrator is plastic, isn’t it? The inside and the trays that come in contact with the food, all a form of plastic, right? They make dehydrators that are stainless steel inside and all trays are stainless steel, that’s what we use. And we use multiple food preserving methods, for a wider variety.
