Take it from a Canadian u do not want to pack ur tread full of snow ! That makes a slick ! U want tall but skinny to cut threw the snow and get down to the ground. Lots of sipes help on the ice too
ОтветитьHow do they compare to the nitto trail grappler s
ОтветитьAny thoughts on them in the rain? I live in Florida and rain is constant.
ОтветитьLove them just got mine on my 03 gmc 1500.
ОтветитьWhat is your thoughts on the Falcon Widepeak MT'?
ОтветитьI don't know. But I sure love my Amp MT's. Ride and look great. Do well off road. And are reasonably priced.
ОтветитьI have Maxxis Razor 772's and super happy with these tires, I don't live in a snow area, but desert area and they perform exceptional!👍
ОтветитьSo after some time what is your take on this tire in the snow?
ОтветитьWhats your opinion on running these on a 2500 hd
ОтветитьI wish I could go back and give you a thumbs up each time I refer back to your older vids (like this one) to re-learn, or to remember the points you make. I frequently refer to several of your videos multiple times because they are so packed with real, usable information. Thanks again Nate for being such an extraordinary presenter and editor!
ОтветитьYour knowledge helped me a lot!! Thanks!
ОтветитьI just got the maxxis mt on my f-150. So far I like them. They eat up anything I throw at them but I haven’t run them in snow yet. They make a lot more noise on the highway than I thought they would. Way more than my previous ko 2’s. But my kos, in my opinion, were shit in the mud.
ОтветитьDude, you actually just sat there and admitted you didn't know much about something and didn't try to make up bullshit to cover it up. Right on! Respect.
ОтветитьMaxxis Bighorn was the best tire I ever ran, until I got the Razr. These are seriously awesome.
They work great on the hwy, even with snow. They are exceptional off road. Get the E rated 10 ply version to really save yourself from sharp rocks on the sidewall.
Absolutely love yoir straight down to the dirty and objective video. Maybe a little bit elementary for me in tour approach, but still totally kick ass what I need to know 411. Who are you on social media? Are you in WORN?
ОтветитьI've been eyeballing some Pro Comps for my TJ. Your line "These don't perform as well as my pro comps in the snow" pretty much made up my mind.
Ответить'Tyres'
ОтветитьLove these tires have a set in 35 they absolutely do sling out the mud and there good in snow to I think
ОтветитьNate. Know it's an old video review but I have a question. I'm on Patagonia MTs now. My second set. Looking at these Maxis as of of my new choices to go with now. I overland and do have to do a considerable amount of highway to get to my destination, being I live in the northeast and try and go out west for long term travel. Anyway, road noise unfortunately matters. I know you have run the Patagonia also. How do these compare? Thanks.
ОтветитьI've had these RAZR MT's now for a year and a half. Had ko'2 previously, these MT's have been far better then expected. I run out here in the Mojave & Colorado Desert of California/AZ. Pure desert trails, flat, rocky, sandy, a little bit of mud. I will be buying again...
ОтветитьJust watched the milestar review as well. How do you like these in the snow compared to the mpats? After tearing a hole in the side of my milestars I'm in the market for new 37s to replace my 35s
ОтветитьRe maxxis Razr Mt 40 13.5 17. Do you find C is better than D? 09 TJ, 6" lift, 1 1/4 BL, long arm kit metalcloak suspension. I'm trying to decide whether I want 37-in D or 40in C?
Yes I like to play off-road obviously. I would appreciate your input for C or D. Clarence is definitely not an issue. Thanks a bunch I enjoy your videos
Bet a good sll train tire would work well in the snow
ОтветитьHow do they do on gravel road?
ОтветитьAny idea on tread life as far as mileage?
ОтветитьI live and both in New England. I run the Pro Comp MT2. I have to agree with you, they are a great all around tread. I need something that will handle good on pavement, rocky granite, and shale type off roads, mud, and both wet, and dry snow! I think you are right about these Maxis in snow, which is why I’ve avoided them.
ОтветитьYo la verdad no les doy una buena calificación con las espinas se ponchan solo las use en dos rutas y dos ruedas se desinflaron, tengo en otro jeep unas falken con 3 años de uso sin problemas.
ОтветитьDefinitely looking at buying a set of these 👍🏻 I've had my eye on them
ОтветитьThanks for this review.
Sound like the Razr is a good all around wheeling tire for Washingtons mud rock trails
I have 6 RAZR MTS on a chase bypass rack setup raptor. Deavers, traction bars, long travel.. etc.. Ran a lot of sand in CA and I ran TX beaches. I'd give them a 4 in the sand for sure. They were stupidly good in the sand even at street pressure. I pulled out a few bro-dozers on the 20s sunk in sand. I have bead locks so airing down on the beach I went over spots UTVs were stuck. Im originally from MN and the RAZR does not have much for sipes. Not so good on ice. Snow depends on what kind fell and how deep. Air down and throttled in deep snow is different than dirt or paved roads and they are better than full MTs. Duratrac's are probably the best for snow/mud compromise. They will beat the ATs on that rover, I ran them on an 80 series locked Toyota cruiser.
ОтветитьWhat you said in the start about who has better tires is so true , buddies try to beak my wild peaks but yet never ran them and only ran one all terrain tire before and don’t have a clue we always bicker each other lol but in the end we all have good tires
ОтветитьAfter watching this video I decided to purchase a set of 4 for mine Military Humvee. I have to say these are the best mud tires I EVER purchase. They are Awesome! Thanks Dirt Lifestyle!!!
ОтветитьMy honest revies, 3 years now-these tires are awesome out in the Ca-NV-Deserts. My next set will be Razr MT again!
ОтветитьYes
ОтветитьWe need some more tire reviews. And what your best pick is now after some time!
Ответитьnot a great tyre in greasy mud . km 3s shit all over them . compound is too hard
ОтветитьHi amigo .l want to buy 40" tires for my jk .nitto trail grapler or maxxis RAZR please tell me
ОтветитьHave you tried the Yokohama Geolandar MT. How do they compare to the Maxxis Razr?
ОтветитьKo tires were my worst snow tire I ever had I have frintvwill drive civics blowing by me lol while I was spinning all 4 stuck in the middle of the street on 6” of snow.
ОтветитьAny updates? In the market to jump from 35 MTR's to 37's. Found a set of these locally. I avoid the mud & pavement, prefer rocks and enjoy deep snow.
ОтветитьWere can i get rhis tires
ОтветитьThose Maxxis Razr MTs are total S**T!! I will NEVER buy them again.
Had a set of 40s on my JK, and was in the mountains and I drove over an old rotted tree stump by accident, and sidewalled it, and a "toothpick" sized sliver cut the side wall. Lost the tire.
On another trail, the road got narrow due to a fallen tree, and AGAIN, the tire scraped up against that tree, and BOOM!! Blow out! Could put my hand thru the hole in that sidewall.
These tires were purchased brand new, and had less than 10k miles on them.
I was so disappointed. I'll NEVER own another set
I have these tires on my F250. They are the best tires i have EVER owned. They are ABSOLUTELY BEAST off road and in deep mud!!
ОтветитьAnd on my F250 they are almost SILENT. mine are the Load class E ~3000lb load each version.
ОтветитьMaxxis tires are well known in the Mountain Biking community and are regarded as some of the better tires for sure.
ОтветитьNice review!
Can you please tell me if you know the difference between Razr MT and Bighorn 764?
Oooooophhhh… just tore a sidewall on my Maxxis MT’s…. Still holding air tho. I live on Padre Island, no problem in sand…
ОтветитьHave been looking at them in 33x10.5R15 for a Jimny (yeah, 33s on the little Zook). So far all reviews I've seen are exactly like yours : surprisingly quiet, good on rocks and very durable. Even if I step it down to 31s, I think this will be my choice over Cooper STT Pro or BFG KM3
ОтветитьMost of the time I drive on the city but I like to go and play on the dirt or mudd so I trying to buy a set of maxxie mudders 33 12.5 20 for my dodge ram 21 4x4
ОтветитьI ran these tires for three years, out here in the California-Arizona deserts- best tires I have ever had for off -roading in my Hilux!
Ответить
