I had severe TBI on Aug 19th of this year(2023).
Hit in the head with a 8 foot steel bar. It was a workplace accident while I was training someone. Workplace didn't give the trainee a helmet on his first day(weird) so I lent him mine.
Woke up in the ICU not knowing what happened.
Was in for a Craniotomy Hematoma. Was on life support for a bit as well during the surgery. Blood leaking from both ears.
Amazingly, I was out in 4 days. I did have major headaches for weeks and had vertigo every time I got up from laying down. Had to have my head elevated 30 degrees when I slept(so uncomfortable). 38 staples in my head and now a permanent scar(like a question mark) on the right side of my head.
Now I'm doing good. All the Doctors, Neurologist and Physicians I've seen say it's amazing how it's like nothing happened to me.
Definitely a wake up call and to be thankful to God for the amazing healing process.

What happens to that drain?
